I just called the Barnes firm regarding a potential case. The woman who picked up asked me if anyone was hurt, to which I replied “no.” She responded that they only handle cases where someone is injured. Fair enough but during my follow up question, she hung up on me, like I was wasting her time. It’s hard enough to be in a tough legal spot, but it’s harder to reach out to someone who might be able to help and they act as flippant as the woman on the phone did.
