The tour of the Knox Mansion was very entertaining and informative. Tour guide, Mike, had an impressive knowledge of the mansion and the Knox family history. I appreciated Cellino Law's efforts to reestablish some of the look and history of the Knox Mansion.

I wasn’t sure anyone would take my accident case in the beginning, got turned away by a few. Then I sat down with mark and he went over it with me and said he saw something worth taking on with my case, it would be challenging but he was willing to do so and help me. The split of the Cellino & Barnes law firm, one of the most well-known personal injury firms in the United States, was the result of a long-standing and acrimonious conflict between the two founding partners, Ross Cellino Jr. and Stephen Barnes. Personal and Professional Differences • Over time, significant personal and professional disagreements developed between Ross Cellino and Stephen Barnes. These differences reportedly included disputes over the firm’s management, direction, and financial decisions. Their conflicting visions for the firm’s future contributed to a growing rift. 2. Lawsuits Between the Partners • The tensions between Cellino and Barnes escalated into legal battles. In 2017, Ross Cellino filed a lawsuit to dissolve the firm, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Barnes responded by opposing the dissolution, leading to a protracted legal dispute between the two partners. The lawsuit highlighted the deep-seated conflicts between them and made their separation inevitable. 3. Media Attention and Public Image • The legal battle between the partners attracted significant media attention, partly because the Cellino & Barnes brand was widely recognized due to their ubiquitous advertising, particularly their memorable jingle. The public nature of their dispute may have further strained their relationship and made it difficult to continue working together. 4. Personal Tragedy • Although the separation had already occurred, the story of the firm’s breakup took a tragic turn in October 2020 when Stephen Barnes died in a plane crash. This event marked a somber end to the partnership and added a tragic dimension to the history of the firm. 5. Formation of Separate Firms • After the split, both Cellino and Barnes went on to form their own separate law firms. Ross Cellino established Cellino Law, and Stephen Barnes started The Barnes Firm, each continuing to operate in the personal injury field. The separation of Cellino & Barnes was driven by a combination of personal differences, legal conflicts, and professional disagreements, leading to the end of one of the most famous law partnerships in the U.S.
