Joseph Fein was recommended by our Special Educational Advocate two years ago. Honestly, there’s not a day that goes by that I am continually grateful for his wisdom, knowledge of special needs children, along with his clear and calm support. Joseph has taken on our challenging case and despite the difficulties, the placement of schools outside of NY, has risen to the occasion and has attained incredibly favorable settlements for us, two years in a row. Joseph has advocated for the emotional needs of our son with deft precision and I appreciate how organized and thorough he is, plus his advice is always honest and transparent. We walked into an IEP meeting for our son and were shocked at what OUR lawyer, Mr. Fein, was asking for! He had not communicated to us, before the meeting, what he recommended. I assumed he was advocating for what we told him we were looking for as he did not say otherwise when we met with him. He appeared to be a lawyer for the school district! I think he was taken with some of the people in the room and trying to impress. Had to give one star.
