Richard has been the best lawyer I've ever had the privilege of dealing with. Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he is extremely responsive. I got a speeding ticket from a NY state trooper for 27 over the speed limit. I assumed I would have to pay a ton of money for the infraction as well as the hit to my insurance, but Richard saved me. Like a magician, he turned my 27 over speeding ticket into a single parking ticket. He saved me a lot of money and if you are ever looking for a lawyer this is your guy!

I received a speeding ticket on the Thruway. I wanted to contact a lawyer to see if I could get the ticket reduced. I saw Richard Shaw had a 5stsr review & everyone online seemed happy with their results. I decided to contact him, explained my situation & Richard said he would contact the County I got the ticket in & see if he could handle it (he explained some counties do not). Unfortunately for me, the county I got pulled over in was one that I would have to take care of myself. (He did explain he could handle the paperwork for me but he would obviously have to charge me-said it was simple enough for me to do but if I had further questions to let him know. I did end up & had a few questions. He responded right back. If you’re looking for a honest nice guy who’s going to get results, I highly recommend contacting Richard Shaw!

Hello this is Ryan. I had a speeding ticket that could of had my license suspended in Cheektowaga, NY. First thing I did was look into an attorney and Richard Shaw was at the top of the list. Karl has been handling my 2nd DWI Felony case for over a year. He is very reasonable, always available, and very knowledgable. Doesnt make promises he cant keep, and let's you know exactly what he will try and do for you. Went from possible jail time, to instead getting Interim probation, to expecting 3 years probation and thousands of dollars in fees, to just going to court today and him getting me a conditional discharge with a misdemeanor instead of a felony, a minimal fine, no probation, and only a 6 month license revocation. I could not believe it, still cant believe that this is over (Every case is different, but these were my results. Not a guarantee from me)... Karl is the man!! 10/10 would recommend and hire again!
