I engaged with Laura Hoffman almost 16 months ago to begin the process of divorce, one I had put off for far too long. It is not an easy process. Laura is very knowledgeable about family law and stuck through the process with me until the end. She is incredibly responsive and timely. Divorce is never easy but it was incredibly helpful to have Laura navigate me through this very difficult time.

No one wants to go through the painful process of divorce let alone have to deal with fairly dividing assets. But if you do, then I highly recommend Laura Hoffman. From day 1 she was kind and compassionate and really listened to my needs and desires. She was incredibly patient with all of my questions and indecisions. She was firm when I needed her to be and took the time to clearly explain all options and ramifications. She looked out for my best interest when I was unable to do that for myself. I never felt rushed or pushed to make decisions. I could not have asked for a more professional yet compassionate attorney.

Talk about a position you never want to be in. My marriage suddenly and unexpectedly ended two years ago. I was devastated, but for everything that was going wrong, I knew instantly that hiring Laura Hoffman was the right thing to do. Despite being in my 60’s, I’ve never really needed an attorney for reasons other than minor estate-related things. Laura is very empathic, certainly. I just wrapped up a divorce with her as my lawyer. She always answered my questions in a timely manner and handled all of the paperwork and filings. She gave good advice with a helpful amount of details and background to explain her position, and was understanding and flexible when I wanted to handle things differently. I had a positive experience using her services and recommend her.

Laura is very professional and patient in explaining what I could expect as I entered getting a divorce. She was very responsive in answering my questions and returning calls/emails. My biggest mistake with my divorce was in using a mediator at first and not engaging Laura completely and fully from the beginning. When custody and other issues came up, Laura was able to help me achieve pretty much every goal I set out to accomplish. My case and custody faced some non-standard issues and Laura did extra research to help me understand how this would affect my case and what was actionable and what was not. She provided me detailed analysis and sound legal advice. Her communication is timely, accurate, complete, and comprehensive. I could not be happier with the service I have received.

Laura is an excellent attorney who communicates easily and readily. My case was complicated and Laura was able to keep the emotional tenor of the work in check by providing timely information and education about the law, while applying that information specifically to my case. Any questions I had were answered quickly and when I felt confused about an issue, Laura took the time to help clarify things for me.
