Would not recommend this firm. I don't know how Avvo rated attorney Chen, ML 8.5 points, if me, I would only give two points. My husband and I hired Chen, ML as our attorney for our landlord-tenant case. He seemed professional first, So we hired him. However, on the court day, He showed up late. I have been waiting for a long time before he hurried from outside and joined virtual meeting. He even didn't follow the court procedure to submit documents, Which made me confused: is this his first time to be in litigation? He seemed really unprofessional and disappointing! When we decided to fire him, He lied to court clerks that because we decided to terminate contact with him all of a sudden, So He didn't have time to submit document to court. What a liar! And also delayed response, rarely answered WeChat messages, When tried to contact him through phone once, another attorney picked up and told us to contact later bcz He wasn't in office, He even counted this two minutes useless conversation into bill! I don't know why he has confidence towards others, it's so disgusting.

Well, I purchased a condo from this what we so-called attorney. The condo has a huge issue with over $21k in water bill debt. He didn’t disclose the issue and passed down this huge water bill to me as a buyer who paid in full asking for his condo. He also claimed that he never received a water bill. Can you believe that? My five year old won’t even believe his lie. After asking the neighbors, I have collected proof that he is very well aware! What a shame! He, as an attorney and father of two. I feel truly disgusted by his unethical behavior. Please think twice before using him. Definitely not a honest attorney. 🤮🤮🤮
