I really recommend Stan from the housing department he helped me get my apartment and helped me with the process he’s really good! He was bet patient and helpful

I am a senior and I needed help with my Section 8 voucher and to find an apartment. The workers in my shelter never helped me in anyway and never gave me the time of day to explain anything. I have been living in this shelter for 4 years and almost lost hope. Being homeless and in a shelter is bad enough, but when the people who are put there to help you dont care, it makes matters even worse. The housing team at Queens Defenders helped me tremendously. They explained how my voucher works and what i am entitled to. Stan and Shunti were always available to answer my questions and address my concerns. They helped me find a lovely apartment in rego park and got me out of the shelter for good. God bless Queens Defenders.

Stan is the Best I Was About To Give Up on finding a place And He Helped Me With Everything I needed he found me the perfect apartment housing for my kid and I he is the best I came across. communication is perfect and everything was done very fast and in perfect time so I wouldn’t be homeless choose Stan he is the best

My Housing Navigator, Stan, was wonderful. The HPD process is very complicated and involved, and i had many questions. Without question or hesitation, Stan answered all of my questions, guided me through the entire process of HPD, Section 8, and my Housing Voucher, and saw me safely into my new apartment. Stan was, without question professional at every turn, and i would recommend him and his skills to anyone needing housing info and help. He is a valuable, knowledgeable employee who can step into any situation with ease and perform expertly. Stan was very kind and social and had ease with all of the situations i encountered on my journey into my new apartment.

I have been working with Stan in the housing department for months and, boy oh boy, Stan is the greatest person he helped me move into my one bedroom and anytime I need to speak to him or bother him he always there. He is amazing. He worked really well with my anxiety, and he was great he is helping me move again. I recommend everyone looking for any housing help contact Stan .

I want to publicly apologize for my last review on Queen Defender institution . Yesterday I was really frustrated and afraid about what or how I will provide to my family in the next 6 months. We live in a shelter and are situation was hard before all of this situation you can imagine what difficult would be with me not working on my profession the next 6 months. I want to appreciate Ms. Leno for Answer my texts yesterday and today I called to her office an immediately put on the phone with Mr. Peter a lawyer that was really profesional and patient talkin to me.
