I was recommended to Pasternak Tilker Ziegler Walsh Stanton & Romano, LLP., law firm through a high school friend, after getting injured work on 2 separate occasions and was in much need for help navigating through the Workmans compensations process.  As a result of circumstances, Mr. Matt Funk, Senior Partner, became the lead attorney with Kimberlyn Carretero and Corina Jimenez being my representatives and part of my team. They have become my beacon of hope during this tumultuous time in my life, treating me benevolently and with honesty. Whether it's showing great diligence with their hard working perseverance, outstanding timely responsiveness to my many questions via email and phone calls, supreme knowledge of the law and the my rights, having medical professionals assist me when I am stonewalled, or taking a moment to reach out so I know that I am not alone in this process. The Lawyer is very efficient but some of the pare legal is not but overall they are good

I contacted this firm last year in May 2023 to represent me in my disability claim. They said it would take 3-5 months for the application process. I called 4 months later in September 2023 to see if they had an update on my claim and the lady (dawn marie) says to me that she forgot to process my application because she was too busy taking care of other things. She said she would process the application right away since she forgot and told me I had to wait another 3-5 months since she never filethe application back in May when I contacted them for legal representation. She had a nasty attitude and was very dismissive about the situation as if she had no care that she made a mistake or that i have to wait another 3-5 months. I immediately started looking for a different firm, when all of a sudden I get a text message from them saying they have processed my application and assigned me to a paralegal. So I decided to give them another chance because if I go to another firm, since they already processed the application, they can collect a fee on my claim even if I decide to go to another firm. But it is now January, almost February 2024, going on 5 months since i last spoke to them in September 2023. Still havent heard a thing from anyone or anything. Im extremely disappointed how they’ve been handling this process. No communication what so ever and very unprofessional to say you forgot to file someone’s application when they’re in need of help.
