When I was turned down by other law firms, Schwartzapfel Lawyers welcomed me with open arms, LITERALLY. Their service is exemplary. They actively listen and offer support where needed. Tashanda Matthews, one of their paralegals, is magnificent! She called or emailed me at least every 6-8 weeks to check up on me and keep me updated on my case, unlike other law firms where you wonder if they're still representing you. I know I may have been a bit annoying with complaints of my slow recovery, but, Tashanda LISTENED and offered emotional support/encouragement as needed. I could call or email her whenever I wanted and she would get back to me either within the same business day or the next. Let me not forget the gifts: I received welcoming gifts, an out of the blues gift and closing of case gifts. The mere fact that they remember me as their client made me feel good. I won't hesitate to give them a call if ever needed again. They really fought for me because these insurance companies aren't so easy to deal with. All the extra stuff Schwartzapfel Lawyers did for me never changed the agreed upon fees. They really tried their best to make me happy and that I can say they did. Oh! Let me not forget Celine who came on board to my case a little later on. She called and introduced herself to me and got working to bring it to a close. I could kick myself for not remembering her name but the lovely receptionist is always so polite and cheerful. Ever called a law firm and got greeted with a bad attitude or just wondered if you actually called a place of business? Well, no worries with the Scwartzapfel firm. As soon i walked into office i felt welcomed by coffee and a bag of gifts. I was referred by my former employer and i was very impressed with their professionalism. My paralegal Sabrina was great and worked really hard for me on my case. I can tell she had over 20 years experience and she even went to the site of my injury to investigate and took pictures. I’m very satisfied and great-full for everything her and my attorney David Sloan did to settle my case. Even though I’m still in pain ,they did a great job and had my best interests at heart and you can’t ask for more than that!

It was just a typical day at work same routine nothing special, but the events that happened before the morning coffee break would change my life .The events that happened in my job related accident would soon be under fire, hurt ,confused, not being able to work . I reached out to a friend and he told me to call this law firm .Almost five years later , still going through what seems like hell , they managed to come to a settlement that was in my best interest . We extend our appreciation to the Schwartzapfel law firm for the great job they did in finalizing a settlement in a trip and fall accident which resulted in a hip fracture and required the placement of a titanium femur rod. The insurance company was essentially non-communicative for almost an entire year. The law firm kept in touch with us to see how we were doing in therapy and the progress being made. Not much was happening until David Sloane took the case. We met with Mr. Sloan several times. Highly experienced, professional and thorough in discussing how best to proceed and what we might expect. There were frequent communications over the next few months. The "keeping in touch" approach of the firm showed that they cared and Mr. Sloane epitomized that.
