I retained Jay a few months ago for my Child Custody/Child support case. At first I was a little hesitant to retain a lawyer from Nassau as I live on the east end of Long Island, but I must say, going with Jay has been one of the best decisions I could have made. So far he has exceeded my expectations inside and outside of the courtroom. Jay has been very professional, conscientious, and articulate. He always answers all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner. I always feel he has my best interest in mind when giving advice. In short, I highly recommend him and feel I have the best representation possible.

Jay Raxenberg represented me in a family law matter. Without going into personal details of my case I can conclude that in the end I had to represent my self (pros se) in order to conclude the matter. Jay Raxenberg is knowledgeable about family law and a competent lawyer, however, in my matter he accomplished so little that in the end I was better off representing my self let alone using a different counsel which I did in a later similar matter. I do not recommend Jay Raxenberg for family law matters.

I highly recommend Jay Raxenberg if you are getting divorced. Jay is an experienced professional who is friendly, compassionate and understanding, unlike many other lawyers in his field. Divorce is not an easy thing to go through, but at least with Jay's help and guidance, the process was of getting the divorce was made as easy as possible. The one thing I must say about Jay that is truly outstanding is that he gets back to you no matter what time of day / night or weekend you need him, unless in court and even then, he tries to get to you ASAP. That really helps show that he cares about his clients and each and every case he takes on.
