Maureen helped me with the planning of my estate. I've worked with a number of lawyers in the past regarding matters of both estate and family law and I have to say that my experience with Maureen was the best of the bunch. Most lawyers talk above you or over you and rarely consider you as much as they should about their plan of action. With Maureen, I felt like she understood the importance of my needs and incorporated them to the fullest. I highly recommend her!

I hired Maureen to do a simple uncontested divorce. After 3 months , and a total of 7 hours on my account, I had nothing. When I called to speak to her, I was told she was in court all the time. My husband and i agreed to terms, sent to maureen to draft and she told me she did not like them. After taking 2 weeks to draft terms, she told me she was dropping me as client because she did not agree the the terms ! When i went to settle bill, she charged me $1,000 to draft terms ! Why draft them if you did not agree and save me the money ?? I thought she was creating an adverse relationship with my husband that i did not have and seemed more interested in creating undue paperwork and things that were not necessary with an uncontested divorce. My new lawyer drafted terms, submitted to court and had divorce final in 6 weeks ! If you and spouse agree on most things, want to keep amicable and keep costs down and get it down quickly, you might want to look at other lawyers.
