Overcharged for my case. Did not return unused retainer. Never returns calls

He handled my divorce and did a great job. He worked hard and discounted my bill in the end. When I called he did not charge me for status updates. I would recommend him.

He represented me in a family court proceeding. Never returned my calls, double billed me and missed court deadlines. Every time I called the office he was always "unavailable"but NEVER returned my calls. I finally had to fire him and get a new attorney.

Mr. Boronow was nice as could be at the initial consultation which he does not bill for. He quoted me a low retainer amount which I agreed to. ONLY 2 WEEKS later, he spent my entire retainer even though no real work was done on my case. He did not return my phone calls for weeks at a time and every time I called the office the secretary would make me leave a message which was never returned. He missed one of my court appearances which I can only imagine is a result of his lack of responsibility and unprofessionalism. He missed deadlines on certain documents and kept requesting adjournments from the court and other attorney!! Each time he asked for an adjournment he billed me 1-2 hours. I ultimately fired him.

Was with this atty several yrs ago. Wont tell u one thing about the law unless hes paid and thinks every minute of his time is Gods gift to the world. Was unable to get one legal thing out of him My divorce was miserable and i got nothing due to his bad mannerisms. Thought an atty should be concerned about the client. I do not recommend him nor do think any person should waste money on attys when you could be giving the $75o0 to your family or take your own kids on vacations.Thats what they do . they make their own lives better.

To my dismay I hired Paul Bornow to handle a routine, simple and straight forward legal matter. Unfortunately I did not do a background check prior to hiring him. I unfortunately found out that he was not competent in handling my matter even though he originally stated that he could otherwise. He is not a good lawyer and I would advise anyone who would consider hiring this guy to do their due dilligence in investigating him before doing so. Save yourself the time and aggrevatinon and stay away from this individual.

I hired him for a legal matter and he mishandled the whole case. He didn't know what he was doing. He is never reachable, never returns phone calls, charges for work not performed and has a staff that is just and rude and incompetent as he is. I have noticed that others have had the same experience with this guy. Do yourself a favor and either stay away from this guy.

I hired this lawyer to handle a real property matter. He prolonged the case longer then was necessary. He continually billed me for unearned work. From my one time of retaining this lawyer, I would recommend all the stay away.

I recommend this lawyer for aggressive litigation and response (if he handles the case personally.)
