I retained the expert services of Dean Lakis, Esq last year in an attempt to recover funds that were owed to me by a lunatic that slashed my brand new UV while in a parking lot. He was caught on camera, and we had him cold, although, the D.A. was able to prosecute, they were NOT able to gain full restitution from this guy. Once I met with Mr. Lakis, I felt fairly confident that he would be the GUY I needed in the courtroom. Well, as the story played out, I can assure you, that HE WAS THE RIGHT GUY. We had this lunatic arrested, and forced him to cove every penny that I had spent to restore the brand new truck back to the showroom condition. Many a lawyer would have shied away from this case, as I had tried several others, BUT, I can safely say that Mr. Lakis was fast, concise, direct, supporting, compassionate and thorough in his diligence to bring justice to the matter. As a Business attorney, I can not recommend another, and now that I have referred him to friends, I can likewise state hat as a Matrimonial attorney, he is equivocally effective. Lakis is the kind of lawyer that you want on YOUR side of the table! He gets the job done!

Jay Raxenberg still answers questions years after my divorce. He also went through a divorce, so he knows first hand how stressful it can be. Thank you for being there for me.

Total Fraud I retained Mr. Lakis to file motions and subpoenas for my matrimonial matters. Despite being paid $5000 on May 29 2015 to file the papers before the 15th of June. He failed to file any motions that I needed him to. Dean Lakis never followed through and then he even had the audacity to try and extort another $2500 from me. He since ignores my phone calls and emails. I just want to warn future divorcees, Don't believe a word he says. STAY AWAY!

Jay Raxenberg represented me in a family law matter. Without going into personal details of my case I can conclude that in the end I had to represent my self (pros se) in order to conclude the matter. Jay Raxenberg is knowledgeable about family law and a competent lawyer, however, in my matter he accomplished so little that in the end I was better off representing my self let alone using a different counsel which I did in a later similar matter. I do not recommend Jay Raxenberg for family law matters.

I highly recommend Jay Raxenberg if you are getting divorced. Jay is an experienced professional who is friendly, compassionate and understanding, unlike many other lawyers in his field. Divorce is not an easy thing to go through, but at least with Jay's help and guidance, the process was of getting the divorce was made as easy as possible. The one thing I must say about Jay that is truly outstanding is that he gets back to you no matter what time of day / night or weekend you need him, unless in court and even then, he tries to get to you ASAP. That really helps show that he cares about his clients and each and every case he takes on.

Jay has and always will be Number 1. He is professional and when you need something done and done right he is the person to go to. He is not only my lawyer but he is also family to me. He cared for me and my daughter with our best interest in mind. He is available as needed and always responds back. The divorce process is quite confusing and complicated. Jay Raxenberg was extremely knowledgeable and helped put my mind at ease. I can say I'm very satisfied with him and his staff. He was very responsive and emailed documents immediately so i could see them in real time. He was very communicative with updates. Jay did a great job to keep me in the loop and to go over the case over the phone with me.

Completely unaware of child support/custody legalities, turning to Jay was very comforting. I had been through two attorney's before Jay, and did not feel satisfied. He took his time to learn every detail of my situation. He proved to me that he was a very well seasoned attorney, and knew exactly how to gain all the best interests for my child and I.
