Mr. Elliot was spectacular as my lawyer. He was competent, friendly and the voice of reason during my divorce. Tom was clear and concise in explaining the law to me, was always there when I called or needed him and he seemed to really care about my case. Tom talked me off the ledge a couple of times, and I really appreciated that. very thorough in breaking things down so that even a simpleton like me understood what was going on! I truly appreciate Tom's work and I thank him for his time and work. I would recommend Tom and the Joseph Law Group 8 days a week!

I had a firm prior to Mr. Elliot, who was inexperienced and not competent. On the other hand, Tom was easy to work with. He made the whole divorce process simple. As a male in NYS, he was able to secure an agreement in which I received money from my female spouse.

I was referred to Tom Elliot in 2015. I had just moved back home to NY from CA and was dealing with an alcoholichusband. Sadly, I realized it was time to consult with someone to help me navigate a separation and potential divorce. Tom was a blessing. In addition to being a very smart and capable attorney, he was caring, compassionate and patient. Separating and divorcing was a struggle to come to terms with, Tom was always patient and understanding of my feelings. I never left a meeting feeling overwhelmed, but always felt I was in good hands. Tom helped me each step of the way as I weighed my options. I would highly recommend him.

Tom did a fantastic job handling our family court case. We had the misfortune of being subjected to the New York State Family Court process in the past and our former lawyer could never seem to get a favorable outcome. Tom changed that and handled our current case professionally and swiftly. His demeanor in and out of court was tremendous. Tom Elliot and his staff were always very quick to answer questions. Very Competent and understanding of this delicate process. Emotions were high at times for me. He and his staff were curtious and understanding. I was ALWAYS able to get quick answers to my questions along with any other issues that came up.

I recently was represented by Mr. Elliot. His entire firm is a class act, and they answer and return calls with great professionalism. Tom was a realistic voice during an emotional process, where the law is not always based upon logic and realities of today's world. He will tell you what works and what doesn't, and will help guide you to a resolution that you can live with. Someone once said, a good deal is when both sides leave the table unhappy. That's is divorce by it's nature. But you can at least have someone in your corner who knows the ropes and can advocate where there is room for advocacy. (He also knows when to call BS on the other side lol). I don't plan on getting married and divorced again, but if I do, I will call Tom again :-).
