Mr. Abruzzese came to me highly recommended from a friend who hired Mr. Abruzzese to represent him in a personal injury matter and after consulting with Mr. Abruzzese about my landlord/tenant case I knew he was the right lawyer for me. He was very knowledgeable and gave me top quality legal representation without drowning me in legal fees. It was nice to see a lawyer so involved in every aspect of my case and always punctual on court dates. With so many lawyers to choose from I felt the need to write this review to help make that decision easier for others.

I found Kevin to be very diligent and passionate about his work. He proved to have a very strong work ethic and was always quick to respond to my numerous inquiries. My personal injury case had a unique set of facts which some big NYC firms I consulted would not touch but Kevin was up for the challenge and willing to take a risk by outlaying his own money because he knew I deserved to be compensated and he delivered. I am very grateful to him for taking my case.

I was very impressed with this lawyer. He was very forthcoming with me from day one which was a breath of fresh air. His guidance helped me avoid making the decision to accept offers made by the defendant’s lawyers to settle my personal injury case which were well below my ultimate recovery. When you hire a lawyer to represent your interests you want to feel you can trust their advice 100% and I luckily found this lawyer who was able to instill that trust in me.

You can never get this attorney on the phone. All you get is a recorded message. Spoke once to the attorney, and when I was ready to hire, all my phone messages were never answered, I called several times and was ignored. I even tried to contact him here with no response. It was just an L/T matter. Needless to say, this is unprofessional behavior. There's nothing worse than being unable to contact your attorney if you do retain one. My friend also needed an L/T attorney and I recommended him as his fees were reasonable and he seemed very competent when I did speak with him, but his office never contacted her either after leaving a message.

Not sure why this lawyer is not rated a 10. I hired him to handle my personal injury and divorce cases and he was nothing less than superb. When anyone asks me if I know I good lawyer I say no, I know I superb lawyer and give them Mr. Abruzzese’s number and all those I have referred which is a lot can’t thank me enough for doing so.

I originally hired a large Manhattan law firm to handle my personal injury case because I am one of those people that thought the bigger the law firm the better they must be but this concept did not prove to be true for me. Specifically, after the initial consultation whereat I met with one of the partners at the firm who made me feel like he would be handling my case and he would be giving it his utmost attention I quickly came to realize this was nothing but a sales pitch as I could never get in touch with him again and was always communicating through other staff members who did not know me by name and had no clue about my case. This left me feeling like I was no longer a person to them but rather just a number in their records of files and as a result I terminated their services and sought out other representation. I found Mr. Abruzzese online and during the initial consultation and after explaining to him my experience with the prior law firm he assured me that I would not be made to feel that way if I hired him because he is personally involved in every aspect of his cases and returns everyone’s phone call within 24 hours. With this I decided to give him a shot and Mr. Abruzzese did not disappoint. He produced a very favorable outcome and throughout the case I always felt like a valued client which was exactly what I was looking for from the law firm that represented me.

When I came to Mr. Abruzzese with a personal injury case there was no question I had significant injuries the issue was whether liability would be able to be proven against the responsible parties. Mr. Abruzzese devised a well thought out theory of liability and with the support of an expert was able to get me adequately compensated when prior lawyers I consulted rejected my case claiming liability would be too difficult to prove. He made me feel secure throughout the litigation and always kept me well informed. I am very lucky because if he didn’t represent me I might not have recovered a cent. All around great job.

I hired this lawyer to represent me in a landlord tenant matter. When I went for the initial consultation and he greeted me I was doubtful he would be the right lawyer for the job because he was much younger than I expected leading me to think he may not have enough seasoning. If you are anything like I was you probably have a pre-conceived notion of what an experienced lawyer should look like but any doubts I may have had about his ability to represent me were quickly erased. He was very competent and proved to be a major asset to me. I would not hesitate to retain him to represent me in any future matters.

I don’t usually write reviews for anyone or anything but I felt it was necessary to make my experience with Attorney Abruzzese public because it was such a positive one for me. I came to Attorney Abruzzese during a very difficult time in my life as my marriage was unable to be saved and a divorce was necessary. Prior to consulting with Attorney Abruzzese I felt helpless and scared of having to go through the court system as my ex-husband had become my number one enemy and every issue was contested. However, after consulting with Attorney Abruzzese I immediately felt a sense of calmness and relief. Attorney Abruzzese treated me as one could expect to be treated by a very good friend and he always took the time to make sure I understood the law as it applied to the issues in my case no matter how long that would be. While I don’t believe anyone is a winner at the conclusion of a divorce case I was 100% satisfied with the final outcome and felt as close to being a winner that I think one could feel and for that I am forever grateful to this Attorney. While driving my vehicle I was rear ended and sustained significant injuries. I contacted a lawyer friend of mine who did not handle personal injury cases and he referred me to Mr. Abruzzese and I am very glad he did because from my first consultation with him I felt a very good vibe and he did not prove me wrong. Mr. Abruzzese showed himself to be very competent handling my case and displayed the ability to be very persuasive in a cool, calm and collected manner. It was also a pleasure being able to get in contact with him to discuss my case rather than a staff member whenever I had a question or wanted an update. It was evident that this is a lawyer who takes great pride in his work and wants his clients to be nothing less than 100% satisfied with his representation as I was. Based on my experience I would not hesitate to refer anyone who needs a lawyer to handle their case to him.

I was referred to Mr. Abruzzese by a co-worker who had a very good experience with him representing her in a divorce case. Prior to hiring Mr. Abruzzese my experience with lawyers in general had not been good. Specifically, the lawyers I used in the past were excellent salesmen leading me to believe they would get me the results I so desired but after shelling out a fortune in legal fees they failed to deliver a final outcome that they made me believe was obtainable. If you are looking for a salesman then Mr. Abruzzese is not the lawyer for you but if you are looking for a lawyer who has your best interests in mind and who won’t tell you what you want to hear for the sake of making a buck then this is your lawyer. Mr. Abruzzese exceeded my expectations as a lawyer and though I hope I will not need to be involved in litigation in the future in the event I am I will feel much less stress knowing I have this lawyer to turn to.
