Having Rj Friedman as my attorney was one of the most awful experience of my life. If you care about your child/children please do your research and don't hire this guy. Seriously read all his reviews not just on google and do your homework first. If your reading this and he is already your attorney then your probably questioning somethings at this point. Find better representation immediately. Your future self and kids will thank you later. He is only interested in your money, talks a good talk to your face then watch him do nothing he says he will do and then you can't get him on the phone, ignored phones calls, emails and text and doesn't follow through with anything. He only wants your money and just simply doesn't care about his clients or their kids. Please learn from my mistake and don't hire this guy for anything. The most communication I've had with this law firm was when it came time to collect more money. They are crooked thieves. No morals and just straight lies to your face. Don't wait until it's to late, act now.

Don't waste your money, doesn't respond to emails, phone calls or texts. Doesn't notify you when court has been cancelled or rescheduled, causing more wasted time and money, doesn't listen to what you want done. R J. Doesn't want to fight for you! It's debatable who's side he's on after he's been paid, and it's amazing he's getting away with this. Court will be dragged out for as long as possible all while nothing gets accomplished, Getting him to file any kind of paperwork with the court is like pulling teeth. I could go on and on but this covers most of it. Don't put your family or your babies in his hands you will regret it! Do your research and find someone who will do what is necessary and fight for you!

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! RJ Friedman is a straight up scumbag and this law firm is a complete scam. I paid them $2,500 and signed a retainer agreement with one of their “attorneys,” who it turns out wasn’t even a licensed attorney at all. They fired the guy for fraudulently representing himself as an attorney soon after, and when they returned my retainer they only gave me $2,000 back because they didn’t want to pay the “fees” they lost from me using a credit card for the original retainer. Which doesn’t make sense since the guy wasn’t even a lawyer and took my money. Also I guess the “fees” were exactly $500 which is obviously a completely arbitrary number. They ripped me off $500 for no work, and after lying to me. It’s utterly disgusting but so much of a headache I just chose to move on. I would NEVER hire these guys, the original Friedman of this law firm passed away and now his son RJ Friedman runs a complete sham of an office off the reputation of his father. Glad I found a reliable corporate attorney elsewhere. What a waste of time and money. Going to file a complaint with the BAR association, and sue him in small claims court myself. He took $500 from me for absolutely nothing after his “partner” turned out to be lying to clients saying he was a lawyer and taking retainers, then not doing any work whatsoever. Probably because he wasn’t actually a real attorney.

If you are looking for free advice, honestly, RJ was good for that. I called him twice and he was willing to speak with me without charge. All of that was great, he was a little brass and straightforward with what he thought, so I liked that. Third call, I hired him and he filed for divorce for me as soon as my retainer was paid. We're off to a great start. That's about as far as we got. I met him once a month in, never got a returned call. Got an occasional email response from him or his paralegal that essentially would tell me he would get back to me and he never did. Never got a bill, even though the retainer says I should get one every 60 days. My wife is the divorce attorney on the other side. He never even spoke with her three months in. This case should've been easy. My wife prepared everything I red lined the proposal she sent and gave it to him. He did... well nothing. After sending him several emails for a month asking why nothing has been done, and expressing my frustration with no movement. I get the following response: "However, your last few emails have been particularly forward and unprofessional, in my opinion. How to respond to them has been the primary delay in my responding to them in the first place, if I'm being honest with myself and you. It's not something I wish to deal with going forward." Unprofessional? Because he didn't do his job? Primary delay in responding was my emails were too forward? Me telling him what I wanted and to get moving on the case? He did say if I needed help before finding an attorney he would help. To which I declined, he didn't want to help me while I was his client, I'm not going to even have him bother to help me on my way out. If you decide to hire him, ensure you read your rights on the retainer, as mine were surely violated.

Although sometimes they seem a little slow to respond, RJ is a great lawyer. I would recommend for anyone who needs a lawyer to fight for them.

Unreliable, takes the easy way. Won't ruffle feathers for fear of arguing with a judge.

This entire firm handled everything so professionally. From beginning to end they always made sure I was taken care of. I always felt like a priority. Rachelle was absolutely wonderful, and honestly by the end of it all, she felt like family!
