I am extremely glad that I hired Lee Shelton to represent me in court. As a result of a speeding violation, I was facing 8 points added to my license, and fines well in excess of $1000. In spite of the fact that my violation occurred in a jurisdiction notorious for enforcing tough "justice" for traffic violations (Milan, NY), Mr. Shelton was able to convince the judge to reduce the penalties to 3 points and only a few hundred dollars in fines. I hope not to find myself in a position again where I need a traffic lawyer, but if I do I will give Lee Shelton a call. And, I would recommend him unreservedly to anyone else needing a good traffic lawyer.

I reached out because I got a speeding ticket in Mt. Pleasant in 2019 and they sent me a court date in 2022 (no longer live in the area). Mr. Shelton answered the phone immediately and sent me instructions for what paperwork he needed in order to represent me. He was able to reduce my ticket to a non-moving violation. I did owe the court $400, which is hefty on the court’s end being that my ticket was already reduced to a 64 on a 55, but nonetheless no points on either my record. Highly recommended.
