Go anywhere else. They charge you for every little thing, and then when it comes to your Hearing it turns out the other side, nor the Arbitrator has files that were requested nearly a year earlier! (Funny thing that, bc I was charged for them!). The lawyer doesn’t go the extra mile to hammer home the effects the accident has had on your life, and then you get stuck working with WENDY, who doesn’t send you the requested paperwork you asked for so you have to call her back again. And then, when you try to share your disappointment with her in how things have been handled (being charged nearly $400 by the first law firm that handed over your files to their law firm after a merger, and then they charge you nearly $500 for the same medical files- which I already have on CD given to me by the hospital..), and then she tries to use the old tactic of, “well, other people..” when we’re not dealing with other people, we’re talking about me, my case. So she confirmed my feelings of being just another case in the pile of files for Davis & Ferber that needed to get cleared out of the way. I knew at the Hearing that when files weren’t turned over and the lawyer didn’t speak up on my behalf (while telling me not to speak up and just answer yes/no) that I would get the minimum amount given for being recklessly hit by a driver in a stolen vehicle w/disregard to the injury I still live w/2yrs later. When you have a receptionist like WENDY (that’s there 15yrs) and gets annoyed with you when you voice your disappointment (mind you I said to her at the beginning that she probably wasn’t the one I should be voicing my displeasure to, but she engaged me in the telling of my disappointment) and then HANGS UP ON YOU only bringing home the fact that Davis & Ferber could care less how you, or your case, is handled!! I called WENDY back to ask her if I swore/cursed at her and what kind of way that was to treat a client by hanging up on them, and all she did was repeat, I didn’t hang up on you, and proceeded to do it again! I guess so long as her coworkers hear her side of the story, no one knows what the client is hearing! Oh well, unfortunately I’ve learned my lesson with them, and am now hoping you don’t have to learn one w/Davis & Ferber as well. This is my opinion and you can make your own, but I wouldn’t risk it. My own sister has a case w/Davis & Ferber who isn’t getting anything but a runaround as well. She’s told by one that her case is at the end and after waiting months she finds out that info wasn’t true, her case still seems to be in the beginning stages. It’s been YEARS now- at least 5yrs, if not more. So I can tell you, the both of us, the first time suing anyone, and We Will NEVER use or recommend Davis & Ferber.
