Attorney Scardigno was a God Send, His compassion and guidance from consultation to court was remarkable. During most unfortunate situations in life, having good counsel is one thing, but to have exemplary and commendable counsel is quite a blessing in itself. If I could give Attorney Scardigno more than five stars I would. I made the stupid mistake of shoplifting for the first time ever in October 2015 and was fearful for the outcome. I feared for my future of grad school and just was devastated with what I did for the first time and of course learned a valuable lesson. That night after being released I looked online aimlessly for an attorney because I didn't want to take any chances. Everyone assured me since it was my first time having a mishap with the law it would get dismissed and I should settle for a public defender but I did not want to take any chances. Since it was my first time ever getting in trouble I was relased that night with a desk appearance ticket and a court date for the following month. I searched for several days and many attorneys were asking for at least $1,500, which is hard for someone who lives on their own and pays rent(let alone having rent around the same time my court appearance was. Finally I came across Attorney Scardigno and contacted him. It was the weekend but I still got an email back from him and his price was way lower and very reasonable and he seemed more confident with the outcome than the ones charging me $1,500. He assured me most likely I would only have to do a shoplifting class and receive one day of community service and after six months it can be dismissed (known as an ACD). Attorney Scardigno was very understanding and I had to split my payment between two weeks and even though he only got half the payment the first week right away he made himself available and put me at ease. I work for attorneys and unfortunately many aren't as understanding or are willing to answer themselves but Attorney Scardigno was. I had my full confidence from the beginning of signing the retainer until the day leading up to court in which the result I was promised was delivered. Not only was his job impeccable work but he was also an amazing individual and even put me at ease during our first phone conference. I recommend him to anyone. He is not all about getting paid but really cares about the outcome and working his hardest to get you the best possible outcome. Although I hope I wont need a criminal lawyer in the future I recommend him to anyone!

Let me start by saying that I never write reviews but Luke Scardigno is not only an incredible lawyer, but an outstanding human being. I felt obliged to write this not just to help him, but others that may also need legal assistance. I found Luke when I was in dire straits. Due to incredibly bad judgement on my part, I ended up with a DWI on the Fourth of July. I realized the severity of my charge, but more so, it was crippling to me because I’m a delivery driver. I could not work. So I Googled “dwi lawyer queens ny” and skipping past the ads, I gravitated directly to a few results, one of which was Luke Scardigno. To be a smart consumer and shop around, I clicked on other results and took information for some of them down, which were all located on Queens Boulevard. The first lawyer I went to meet with told me my charge was very serious and a very costly one. Not only would I lose my license for 6 months but I would have to pay fines, court and DMV fees in excess of $1000. He told me he could get it reduced. I asked how much it would cost to hire him and let’s just say for a person that does not make much, it was literally impossible to pay, especially considering the fines and fees. I asked if he would work with me on the price and was basically told no even after I told him it was unaffordable for me. The second lawyer I went to was Luke Scardigno. I immediately felt relaxed after talking with Luke who was not only comforting, but knowledgeable. I explained my situation and asked how much he would charge me to retain him. His response was very reasonable in comparison to the other attorneys I consulted with. I told him I did not have much money at the moment and asked if he could work with me. He gladly obliged and put me at ease, assuring me that he would get the case reduced. He told me to get some paperwork for him, which I did. The day before the court date I received a call from his secretary to remind me. I showed up and Luke said that the charge would be reduced to a DWAI (driving while ability impaired) which is an infraction as opposed to a misdemeanor. This meant a 90 day suspension, rather than six months, and less of a fine, not only that, but Luke even gave me more of a discount on his payment and told me to make sure I paid the fines and court fees before I paid him! I couldn’t believe it! Like I said I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS and if I were to write a review I think it would be a negative one, but Luke truly deserves this. My only regret is that I could not give more stars.

I hired Luke Scardigno this past August 2014 to represent me in both, a fabricated Domestic Violence criminal case as well as a family court matter involving another false allegation that my wife made because she got caught committing adultery and did what ever she could to turn the tables to make me look like the bad guy. Mr. Scardigno is a very humble and personable attorney. I've dealt with other attorneys before and did not want to see them again but I'd definitely use him again if I needed to be represented in court. Luke asked all the right questions to get the all the information that I probably wouldn't have produced otherwise. Prior to my court dates, he followed up with me by phone and text messages to ensure I knew where to go and what time to be there. At my Domestic Violence criminal court case appearance he convinced the Judge to lesson the charge and it was brought down to a simple limit order and will be completely wiped off my record in 6 months. I was again allowed to enter my home to see my two girls and I'll always be thankful for that. At my Family court appearance, he actually had those charges totally dropped. His fees were very fair and to be quite honest I was going to pay so much more to another lawyer prior to seeing Luke. I recall the other lawyer telling me "you get what you pay for", not true. Higher price lawyers don't always translate to being better. Just a few weeks ago i contacted Luke for a Divorce lawyer reference and he provided me with some great advice on things i should do and not do. Luke got back to me a day later with a referral to a Divorce attorney. I highly recommend Mr. Luke Scardigno as an attorney. My experience with him was excellent. I actually think he might be one of those lawyers that gets allowed into heaven. lol. Thank you Luke, Daniel Gaston

Not only is highly knowledgeable and successful at what he does, but he also truly cares about your wellbeing and the case outcome. From the time I first met Luke Scardigno in his office he immediately put me at ease and made me feel better about my legal situation.
