We used Marc Scolnick to do a duel closing on our two homes. He was referred to us by our realtor/former co-worker. It was one of the best decisions we made aside from the purchase of our new home. Marc was responsive to all of our concerns re: closing, taxes & loan documents, etc... A year later, we received a violation on our former resident from department of sanitation long after we sold the property. Oath found my husband and I guilty of $300 santitation violation and refused to hear our constant plea of innocence. We were not the owners on record at time of violation. Moreover, Oath charged current owners for same violation, hmmm... After filing numerous complaints, emails, calls & being denied an appeal...We were exhausted. We emailed Marc & explained our situation. As a courtesy, Marc wrote an email to OATH and showed up to the rescheduled hearing on our behalf. Our case was thrown out, no money owed.
