Super kind a truly brilliant.

I had retained Dennis Ahearn for a case involving me being assaulted resulting in a broken nose and three surgeries. I cannot say enough about how professional he was yet he made me feel I mattered and was not just another case. He’s an incredible attorney knows his stuff and still manages to treat you as if you matter. He got me thru this assault which emotionally and physically was tough. I would recommend he as he is an outstanding attorney that also doesn’t rob you blind he knows his stuff and very professional. I can’t thank him enough for which was a tough time. for me. if I could give 10 stars I would.

I’ve know Dennis for a very long time. When we lived in Kings Park, we used him several times and were very happy with the service he provides. I highly recommend Dennis for anything requiring an attorney.

Dennis Ahern has handled our family's affairs for decades and is top rate. He has handled issues involving divorce, wills and trusts, asset division, closings and rental property disputes. He always provides succinct and accurate information and does not draw things out; his fees are very reasonable and he is very and likeable. I typically am not one for writing reviews but felt compelled to do so. Dennis has represented me for the closing of two of my properties and has guided and advised my on other matters throughout the years. First and foremost for me it starts with HONESTY and INTEGRITY both of which Dennis possesses! He is extremely educated and well versed but more importantly, being his client, you never feel like he's only representing you because it's "his job." He will go above and beyond to make you feel at ease and protected during times that are often very anxiety provoking. Sometimes that includes getting back to you after hours fully knowing that answering your questions and/or concerns will help you rest easier that night. He truly cares about each of his clients and makes you feel that the only thing in the moment that matters to him is representing you and protecting you and your interests. These are qualities that you may rarely find in others. If you are reading this review, there is a reason. Take the step and contact his office, you will not regret it.

Very Unprofessional My wife and I are first-time buyers purchasing a home on Long Island from a retired woman who was represented by Ahern & Ahern. Prior to signing the contract of sale, we had requested for a few items in the home be repaired, the day prior to closing we did a walkthrough of the home to find the repairs were not fully completed. Therefore, on the day of the closing I brought this up and the sellers’ attorney seemed to become irate standing up that the closing will be adjourned, packing his things, and leaving the room. My wife and I were dumbfounded by this response which happened more than once during the meeting. The arguing between attorneys became so intense, the homeowner, my wife and I spoke outside of the building to have civil conversation. The homeowner was pleasant and agreed to return to the home the following day and finish the work and the closing commenced. We are happy with our new home and what we thought would have been a smooth transfer of property turned into a disgusting spectacle leaving me in shock and my wife in tears; a sad memory we will never forget.

In response to Steven Michael's review I am the 'retired woman' referenced in his review. First, Dennis Ahern was MY lawyer for the sale of my home and he did a great job for me. Second, the purchasers were difficult to deal with in regards to my home sale. Dennis was fantastic in handling them and he was not unprofessional at the closing or at any time in dealing with me. Rather he was always available for me and had the patience and time to deal with every aspect of the sale of my home. I cannot thank him enough for his hard work in helping me sell my home and would highly recommend him.

Denis I consider him like a shark. He’s really well educated and rounded. He will fight for you. He’s straight up he doesn’t sugar coat anything. Thank you so much for his staff as well for putting up with me.
