As a practicing attorney for 33 years, it is difficult for me to understand why any attorney would want to commit to being a plaintiff’s medical malpractice attorney,-in my opinion, one of the most difficult fields of law. I have the greatest respect for anyone who chooses that discipline. When I first met John Fisher, it was obvious why he excels in that field of law. He exudes passion for his work and, at the same time, compassion for those he represents. Yet, while maintaining a very busy practice, he always finds time to assist and give guidance to other lawyers. In fact, he has shared his exceptional organizational skills which are detailed in two excellent books on Law Office management systems: The Law Firm Of Your Dreams and the Power of Systems. If you’re searching for someone with both passion and compassion, John Fisher is your man.

I was impressed with the breadth of knowledge and the practical insights John Fisher incorporated in his presentation today for the NYS Academy of Trial Lawyers program ("How to Get Inside the Mind of the Jury...Virtually". The subject of focus groups as a valuable trial preparation tool is something I had not considered using in my prior litigation experience, but the webinar was illuminating. Attorney Fisher's contribution showed me the feasibility and pretrial preparation value of using such groups.

I'm a fellow attorney, and just "met" Attorney Fisher on-line when he was a speaker for a trial prep Continuing Legal Education class. I was very impressed, and that isn't easy!
