Michael helped me with my case and was able to get a favorable result. I was probably often annoying with contacting him but he always responded and gave sound advice any time I needed to contact him. He walked me through the entire process and I felt comfortable with his explanation the entire way.I feel confident saying that Michael is on your side.

I first got in contact with Mr. Michael Pollok about a year and a half ago after a family tragedy. He spent an incredible amount of time on the phone with me talking to me about different legal scenarios and their outcomes. He recommended a brilliant forensic psychologist. I called him again a weekago and discussed how things were going and an appeal and we made an appointment to meet again and I went to meet with him today and he remembered all the details of the case that we had discussed. He is brilliant. He took the time to look up my relative’s case, discuss the different appeals, he gave me handouts of a certain legal Act that could help my relative’s case and printed out information about a certain case that is similar to my relative’s. He told me what to ask my relative to do so that he can be informed. I wish I had hired him in the beginning. He did not take any money from me at all each time we spoke. He really is an incredible legal mind and a gracious person.

Michael represented our son through his SORA nightmares first in the Ulster County Court in Kingston and then in appeal in Albany's State Supreme Court. He won the downward departure motion from a level 2 (moderate risk) to a level 1 (low risk) on appeal based upon the psychometric testing of Dr. Megan Wright and the profiling provided by Chris Farrell. This is a very important decision because it specifically holds that psychometric testing is an independent ground for a downward departure. Michael was brilliant both in the Ulster County court, where the judge chose to ignore everything Michael presented, and in the State Supreme Court where wiser minds prevailed. We would hire Michael again in a heartbeat.

Michael Pollok is not only an excellent attorney, but he is a compassionate and principled human being and I could not recommend him more highly. Michael was an excellent attorney. One of the biggest complaints with attorneys is failure to communicate. The day we called his office we received a return call that day. From then on he personally answered all of our questions promptly. He was on top of the case up to and including the arraignment. He was able to negotiate a plea deal from a DWI to a DWAI. We are so thankful for all of his hard work and would definitely recommend him..
