When I was charged with a felony DWI I need a lawyer who listen, care for and defend me to the best of their ability. Having children and a career, I knew that loosing my license would be detrimental my children's lives because I could potentially loose my job or need to quit my job. I had initially hired a larger firm, with the mindset that "you get what you pay for." After a few weeks, I found myself to be utterly disappointed with my decision. I signed the contract and payed the fee, but nobody would return my calls in regards to my case, or call me to update me on my case. I felt like I was in the dark. Then when I finally did receive a call, instead of the lawyer talking to like their was hope, he talked to meet like I was just another case in their case load. I was utterly disappointed in my decision. I then began saving money to seek out other representation. A coworker of mine suggested I meet with Attorney Melanson.
