In the most desperate moment of my life, I came to Gary Ginsburg through the recommendation of an old classmate who had become a partner in a Wall St. law firm, and who was himself a bankruptcy attorney. He said: "When our firm has a problem in bankruptcy law that even we are not sure to handle, we consult Gary." My first meeting with Ginsburg lasted more than two hours. At the end of it, my classmate was eager to learn Ginsburg's proposed course of action. When I explained it, my friend shook his head in wonder. "It's genius," he said, "It wouldn't have occurred to me. It wouldn't occur to any lawyer because it is a solution that is least profitable for the lawyer. But it's clearly the most brilliant solution."

Most people hire attorneys to represent them in a bankruptcy situation only to realize later that they are not well versed in bankruptcy nuances. In my instance I hired someone who claimed to know bankruptcy law and almost lost the entire case. I then hired Gary Ginsburg who salvaged my case from complete disaster to total success.
