Over priced. Under results to no results. I assure you that you will be dissapointed in her services and SHOCKED with her bills. I found out the hard way.

this was an uncontested divorce and she over charged and did not give straight answers. totally unhelpful and not worth the ten grand. even screwed me out of the last $100 dollars. in the account she made me open and demanded i send an authorization to pay the last $200. there was at least $370 left she took it all!

I paid Ann Hess 3500 down. She showed up to one court case that was 30 minutes long. She sent me a bill after for $4500 charging me 9500 for a 30 minute court case?!? I called letting her know I needed to disucss what was going on. She told me she was too busy to talk. I told her I could wait in the waiting room until she has time because I really needed to figure out what is happening. She told me if I step foot in her office she will call the police on me. I not only got robbed 3500 since it was only 30 minutes she appeared for but now she is trying to sue me for the remainder. This lady is a complete fraud and I am currently fighting the charges.

She wasted so much time and charged me so much money. She said she was going to fight for me, but never met with me and made me write my own case for her. I finally got rid of her and got a different attorney and they finished my case quickly with minimal charges.

I hired Ann Hess to help me through my divorce proceedings. Upon signing I gave her $3500. Over a years time she alot of paperwork to the tune of $13,000 and then stepped down from my case before we went to court. That's alot of money for no help, I went to court alone.

My ex-wife and I had an amicable divorce and made the huge mistake of jointly hiring Ann Hess. On our first meeting, Ann told us that it shouldn't cost more than our $2000 retainer, as long as we did a lot of the legwork. We did the legwork, our homework, and everything that was asked of us in a timely manner. Our final total? $13,000. Unbelievable. I couldn't recommend strongly enough to stay away from this attorney.

I went in for what I thought was a 20 min consultation of my case and drop off my retainer. I ended up being there for over 3 hours while Ann Hess did not even have my legal file from my previous lawyer. I left feeling like Ann Hess was very confused I was feeling very uncertain. The retainer was $3500.00. I never saw Ann Hess again, I called the next day asking her to not work on my case stating I was consulting with another lawyer. In June 2018 was my first time and last time meeting with Ann Hess to consult my case. It is now October and I recieved $1670.00 of what was left of my $3500.00 retainer. My one time meeting I left feeling very unsettled and like Ann Hess was disorganized and wasting my time as well as her own also felt tricked into what I thought was a 20 min consultation turned into over 3 hours due to her confusion and disorganization.

Mrs Hess quoted me about 5000 dollars for my divorce .My divorce there was no assets to fight over no home no car nothing . I was asking for visits for 1 child that my ex-wife had some custody of . She successfully got my visits by getting a law guardian for the child involved . After the divorce was done I have my visits with my son . I Thank her for that but the divorce came to a whopping 23 thousand dollars . I paid her approximately 10 thousand now I am in debt to her for 13 thousand and she is charging me 17 percent interest on the debt . She even charges me to send me a bill .every bill she send adds approximately 50 more dollars to my bill.I will never recommend her for anyone reme er absolutely no assets at all to fight over.

I hired her to take care of my divorce all she did was file it and the consultation maybe I talked to her on the phone twice and she charged me over 5000 bucks she never went to court because I hired a new attorney thank god who knows what I would of paid if she did the whole Divorce read this and run away if you're thinking of hiring her.

Overpriced, no results, only interest is running up your bill. I wish I read reviews first.

Exceedingly rude during each of several consultations. Calls at 7 AM! Hangs up when she's done talking! Never listens. Is fond of giving ancient history on different counties, many years ago.........Likes to quote Greek tragedies!....to snub her nose at [your] "lack of knowledge..."-???????!!! It was unclear to me, actually, why she did this. Talking to this woman made everything much more complicated than it was. Mine was a relatively straight-forward divorce, with some issues of marital property. She got REAL ANGRY! when I told her I already pleaded guilty to a Class B misdemeanor harassment charge. Wanted desperately, I think, to take this to trial; thereby increasing her fees?????? I would represent myself {and risk having a fool as a client} before I would hire this woman.
