Currently the attorney for my purchasers. He has held up the deal for a month....and counting. We worked out language in the contracts quickly. He had no objections. Still the contract took him 3 times as long as it should have and then on the 5th week he sends a ridiculous rider and makes a ton of changes to the contract without any notice and has his clients sign before sending. We were livid and almost went with our back up buyers. I wish we had. Convinced by our attorneys they they would “stay on top of him” we continued with the deal after a painstaking 6 weeks to get the simple contract and “good faith” deposit out of the way. Now he has taken more than 10 days and has not ordered the title. Once again causing a domino effect and slowing down the deal after he has already asked for a 30 day extension for the “on or about” date. He is an absolute nightmare and does not return calls or emails to our attorney and has no sense of urgency. We fully regret our choice to sell to our purchasers solely based on his unprofessional, and unreasonably slow manner of execution. If your buyers choose this man to do their deal and you have other options, choose the other purchasers or urge them to change counsel especially if you are selling in Suffolk County. As a Nassau attorney, he had little to no knowledge of the way the contracts are done and believe me, that matters when you have someone adding in redundant language that would never be applicable in your area. A first year law student would have been a safer choice. I’m sure his buyers are wholly unaware, but we already want to challenge the contract because of their poor choice in counsel. It will be a cold day in hell before we grant them another extension because at this rate it would still be faster to start all over again with new buyers.

I've used Joseph Lee several years now on several different things and he is one of the nicest honest gentleman out there!! During the process she was hard working, patient and treated me like family. During a difficult process she was with me every step of the way and worked so hard to make sure things went in the right direction. Their experience and professionalism is to be admired and I would recommend Joe and Rina to anyone who needed legal council. They are fair and don’t overcharge. Many lawyers charge for every phone call or email. They were fair and I was able to call or ask questions without worry of being charged unfairly. They are not like many lawyers you hear about that are only concerned about the bills. They care about their clients and do what is best for them.
