Rose Law Office, during a time of stupendous grief regarding my former landlord and housing situation, was the only firm in the local LIC/Astoria area that heeded my calls in the compassionate, demanding, and stalwart fashion that they did. Attorney Buci didn’t hesitate to let me know that we had a standard case that in my eyes as a newish New York resident was anything but standard. Let me tell you, I was stressed out. Landlord was coming at me with preposterous demands and citing statutes I couldn’t make heads or tails of. But Rose Law, oh man, Rose Law was like just stress free after retainment. Here’s a direct quote from a conversation to show you firsthand how good it got during the time we were negotiating the security deposit return: “He will. I told him we are not playing around anymore. If he doesn’t bring the check by Friday, it will be a problem for him.” And you know what, I got my security deposit and the landlord, Mr I., and I talk on the phone like it’s no big deal now! I mean like I’m not going to be another tenant nor rent from Astoria anytime soon but from my time in Housing Court I know for a fact we got off on better footing than the majority of Landlord Tenant cases.
