Simply by far the best attorney on Long Island by far. I have used Mr. Harrison on three different occasions and on all three of them it was a 100% win. While I don’t generally write reviews, as a father whose children’s well-being is his highest priority and who was facing an incredibly challenging divorce with intense and critical custody issues, I feel compelled to publish this review of the Hedayati Law group. In general, I am extremely detail oriented, hold people accountable and expect results – when the welfare of my family is at stake, my requirements are even higher. In an effort to identify passionate, ethical, trustworthy, dedicated, effective legal representation with a methodical strategy and exceptional abilities to relate to/support the intense emotions associated with divorce, I interviewed many attorneys. The majority of the law firms advised me that the custody arrangements I felt were critical for the well-being of my family would not be possible because my youngest child was a baby. The Hedayati Law Group was the exception – both in terms of process and delivery. The custody order they were able to negotiate for me and my children met my children’s needs and exceeded my expectations. When experienced family lawyers reviewed the completed order, their response was “In 28 years of doing this I have never seen an order for the father like this within such a short time frame. I do not know how your attorney did this.” The Hedayati Law Group accomplished this critical, impossible and exceptional custody arrangement through incredible teamwork and leveraging the complementary skills of the two lead attorneys, Al Hedayati and Michele Fenton. As the senior attorney, Al developed strategy and provided guidance through the legal process. Michele went above and beyond in leveraging her personal and professional experience in navigating and negotiating the path forward. Both Al and Michele care deeply for parents who are fighting for their children. Al’s guidance was that if I followed their direction, I would get my kids and he was right. As the primary attorney on my case, Michele Fenton’s consistent support, dedication, personal attention, and expertise on a day-to-day basis was beyond anything I could have anticipated or hoped for – even with my family’s extremely urgent and critical situation. Her combination of impactful legal tactics, deep knowledge of family law, empathetic demeanor, hands on engagement, overall wisdom and judgement truly made it clear to me that she genuinely cared about our case and knew how to move it forward in our direction. Michele’s combination of professional expertise and personal engagement have made me and my family (including extended family) truly indebted to her, to the point where we consider her a part of our family. Without getting into the detail, Michele’s hands-on guidance and ability to stay 3 steps ahead in an extremely challenging situation saved my daughter’s life. She went above and beyond what any other attorney would have done. Just writing this brings tears to my eyes.
