Horrible law firm- DO NOT USE THEM, RUN FOR THE NEAREST EXIT!!! They want you to sign a retainer for them to collect 40% based on contingency when no lawyer should charge no more than 33% for the state of New York! Scott Cholewa (managing attorney) had advised me that he’s on top of everyone’s case (if he’s on top why didn’t he tell me that I needed to redo my timeline, I will just find another attorney, since I had to keep redoing my timeline. One other thing, I’ve noticed they have people who work for their law firm leave them good reviews- Scott Cholewa why did you leave the company you work for a review on from your Facebook profile on here down at the bottom)? he assigned Aaron Ferri to my case it’s been 5 months now, Aaron still has not sent my previous employer a demand letter, I retained them during the Spring of 2022. I called the law firm and spoke with the receptionist upon my written timeline sent to Aaron she said Aaron would call me back the same day, he did not instead he waited nearly 2 weeks to return my phone call all I wanted to know was if he had sent my previous employer a letter, even before I called to speak with the receptionist I had spoke with Scott Cholewa- he stated no they had not sent the letter yet to the employer Scott knew damn well they needed me to redo the timeline yet he waited it out and let Aaron tell me that and explained it on the call he made to me. Aaron originally had sent me an email stating I can either submit the timeline to him by email or/either by phone call. Aaron mislead then told me on the phone that he needed the timeline both by email & by phone which clearly in his email to me he left that out. I had already saw through this law firms charades long time ago, not only based upon my experience and interaction with them, but needless to say the reviews I’ve seen online regarding them, just like his client Raven who had retained Aaron as well back in 2019. Aaron is rude, argumentative, condescending & clearly doesn’t know anything about representing a client zealously- One phone call I had with him he had stated “I don’t want your employer to be like she is just making this up because we terminated her.” Mind you, before he even said that I had sent him 26 separate emails between me and my employer, which you must of not read (you think I’m going to make up emails which were screen shot using their first & last name @businesscompany.com)? Why would you even think something like that and your an attorney? Less known why would you even say that to your client? That sort of conversation was highly unprofessional and he should be disbarred from practicing law entirely for misconduct. That he commented on, should of been a conversation said to an attorney to an attorney point of view not your client. I’m thinking to myself geez if he had been representing a defendant who committed murder he wouldn’t even stand a chance, his defendant would ghost out on him, just as I did. Aaron even called me a liar, because according to him I had left out of context in my written timeline that my coworker called me the N word. Why would I want an attorney who thinks African Americans are just making up stories about discrimination occurrences just in attempt to get money? This is the gists I received from him after communicating with him back n forth. Aaron, are you asking that same question to all your clients who come to you for a case to work? I’m sure he is not. I even submitted an email to him back in mid-July that he can discontinue representing me- the fact he had spent so much time on one area just regarding a timeline, I feel like this is a scam, I’m afraid if I provide him with the remaining timeline he’d be like oh I can’t help you, or you need to redo it over! I’ve been out of school for the last 20 yrs he’s given me nothing but homework to do over and over again without producing any to little results. Your the attorney and your wanting me to do your work? This attorney, is lazy I need an attorney who will fight for & believe his client.

After making an irresponsible decision, I searched for attorneys and Kim's firm caught my attention. I went in for a consultation only and walked out with her as my attorney. I gave Kim my information and explained my situation. It only took a few minutes for her to look everything over, and she was able explain to me the entire court process and my possible outcomes. Kim also helped me take necessary steps in preparing for my first court appearance. Needless to say I was amazed with her professionalism and knowledge of the entire process including the necessary programs the courts would require. From my first court appearance to my last, Kim was always available if I had any questions. She also made sure to remind me of my court dates and that I should always be early. I did not know Neil when I started working with him a few years ago. I was referred to him by someone who had seen him make a presentation at a conference. He is/was one of the best professionals I have come across in my life. I would recommend him to anyone/everyone. I would also recommend not just retaining him, but listening to him. He is a wise man. He knows what he is doing and he thinks clearly.

I don't know where to start. I have had the pleasure of working with Richard Kaufman. As with all cases the firm comes by, it is not a happy story.
