After I received a disqualification I contacted Kevin Sheerin. After filing an appeal I received a second interview and after preparation was found qualified. Thank you Mr.sheerin I couldn’t have done it without you H.T.

I personally do not recommend. Based on my experience with Mr. Sheerin, I have to say I'm very disappointed. It seems more like he works alongside Dr. Janoson to take your money more than to assist you. I met with him once, the day I walked into his office, and never saw him again after I submitted him my payment. Honestly did not see the point on paying him as Dr. Janoson was the person who did the work, he is only there to "submit" the paperwork using a template he uses for all his cases. When you hire a lawyer, you expect to meet with this person multiple times or at least speak to him (finding facts, things he can use to have a better picture and fight the case). The one time I spoke to him was a year later (over the phone) when I had to reach out asking for a follow up on my case. Don't waste your money when you can represent yourself. If NYPD requests you to submit additional documentation from a specific person follow up with the request. Or do your research and ask around. I reviewed the packet sent to NYPD by Mr. Sheerin with his "comments" it was a template used for all other cases, everything else was just information submitted to him by Dr. Janoson. Not to mention, that when I received the letter, the template used was for Suffolk County PD. When I called him, he gave me the run around and was very unprofessional referring to other lawyers that "only wanted to take" my money. Not to mention, he went on in regards to personal choices and did not even allow me to speak. Don't waste your money. And really do your research about who you are hiring. Do not ignore your findings. When I decided to hire him, I read some bad reviews, but I'm not the type of person to go by reviews and I even mentioned this to him when I met him. Don't fall for it (biggest red flag, is when he tells you that he would only work with Dr. Janoson). I'm rating only based on my experience, this does not mean, it may be the same case for anyone else. 2 Stars only because his secretary was awesome!

Hired him payed up front. Before hiring talked to me and basically said my case was a slam dunk. After full payment done he never talk to me only his secretary at times. I did all the work I when to my legal aid got a statement from her and coward it. I took my speak letter and delivered it myself. I got final dis cualificación and all he could tell me was we have to prove you are fit for the kid it doesn’t matter if the incident happened or not. He said it’s their call and nothing he can do about it. Why didn’t he just said this before horsing and be honest he just took my money and understood I really wanted the job and told me what I wanted to hear.

Mr Sheerin and his staff was a great help in helping me get my disqualification reversed. He kept me updated in every step over the process. His law clerk Maria was also very helpful in the preparation process of my documents. Some law firms just take your money and tell you hope for the best but not the law offices of Kevin P. Sheerin. I would recommend anyone without hesitation,who has a disqualification for any civil service position to hire him. He gets results!!!!!!!!

When I found out I was being disqualified from my position I contacted Mr. Sheerin and I was able to get a reversal of my disqualification. The entire process went very smooth and he was very helpful with everything.

I hired Mr. Kevin Sheering to process a disqualification from a civil service exam that I taken for Station engineer electric position at the DEP 2014, Mr. Sheering worked tireless against DCAS process to rescind my status to qualified which he followed through to prevail this result of being finally placed on the Civil Service list which I was made permanent and I greatly thanked his firm for a great job they had accomplished..

His diligence over the finest details of my appeal, ultimately lead to me being put back on the list for my class. I highly recommend that if you are ever in a similar situation as I was, that you look towards Mr. Sheerin for help. It was worth every penny to get myself on the job. I am now set for the rest of my life because of Kevin Sheerin and his staff and I couldn't be more grateful.

This man did nothing for me and I paid so much money. I thought he was a very good experience lawyer but he did absolutely nothing for my civil service case. I wish I had never spent so much money on him. My status ended up being the same thing. "Disqualified" He told me some nonsense and I fell for him. Same thing with his secretary she's no use.

I met with Kevin in September 2015. When I first met him I'm sure that he saw that I was feeling down and out. I had just received my disqualification from a law enforcement agency I had applied to. I explained my concerns and frustrations to Kevin regarding my disqualification. He assured me that he would do his best to help me with my case and then two months later I received notice stating that my disqualification has been reversed and that I'm clear to continue. I couldn't have asked for any better help with this matter such as the help I received from Kevin. I definitely recommend him to the next.. Thank you Kevin

Mr Sheerin is an outstanding lawyer and was very helpful. I had a long journey ahead of me but he was there every step of the way and helped reverse the disqualification I received from the NYPD. Mr. Kevin sheerin was obtained by me for a disqualification from a civil service position. His background knowledge and specialty in civil service appeals was very in depth which made the process go very smooth. He prepared a very thorough case and the decision was overturned.
