Professional, thorough, considerate, and responsive barely describes the positive experience I had with Robert Schalk. Mr. Schalk listens to his client, and thinks quickly on his feet as to the best way to solve a problem. Mr. Schalk was patient and considerate in understanding my concerns about a difficult situation I found myself in. What I most appreciated was the fact that when he said he would call me back, he did! Mr. Schalk did his research before he spoke to me about possibly strategies we could use to address my problem. Josh Kahn was born to be a lawyer. He fought to the bone for me and all my interests. He was crystal clear in explaining the law and the insurance details of a complicated 3-party accident involving a ride-sharing app. After being in a crash that destroyed my car and put me in the ER for six hours, I needed a friend. Someone that knew how to listen and then help me set priorities. Josh was good at that too. Josh and his partners are ex-prosecutors, meaning hard negotiators and experienced trial lawyers. I got the strong sense that the insurance companies and other law firms involved knew this, and were rightly intimidated. And the proof - the settlement was double the estimate I got from the other lawyers I talked to before hiring Josh Kahn. Above all else, Josh is someone with enormous integrity, a real Mensch - 5 stars all the way.

I was in a car accident, it was a hit and run. And I’m so glad that I was referred me to Schalk, Ciaccio, and Kahn. I have an aversion to anything around insurance or legalese, but Josh Kahn handled my case flawlessly- he was so insightful, knowledgeable, patient and just cool! He told me exactly what to do every step of the way and he and his office made everything so easy and painless for me. Their secretary Dawn is also extremely responsive and super sweet. We all know that customer service will make or break an office. Dawn is helpful and fantastic and so is everyone there I’ve spoken to when I called. Josh also set reasonable expectations for my settlement and I got more than I thought I would. He is the BEST. I really appreciate this office and the way they handled my case.
