I called a few lawyers for a traffic ticket and was immediately relieved to talk to Brian Berkowitz. He was upfront about exactly what the circumstances were and what he could potentially do to help. Brian was in-touch throughout the whole process from date-of-hire through the court date and beyond. The outcome was the best I could have possibly hoped for, and I would recommend Brian's services to anyone. He certainly went above and beyond my expectations!

During a time of complete uncertainty, Brian was the calm in the storm. Beginning with the in-person free consultation, Brian won me over with his professionalism and care for me and my situation. He endlessly followed through on each and every aspect throughout my ordeal. He returned all of my e-mails, texts, and phone calls within hours of reaching out to him. Brian is everything you could ask for in a lawyer. I was in a car accident and was faced with a following too closely ticket that would have put points on my license but he got it reduced to a parking ticket. Then a few months later I faced a speeding ticket for going 30mph over which seemed like an utter defeat but again I contacted Brian and he got it reduced to a parking ticket once again. Brian had saved my license and my money. There was no stress at all he completely handled the situations and was always available to be contacted. He truly cares for his clients and has a nice personal touch. If I were to run into trouble again I would contact Brian without hesitation. Thank you again!

I guess I will consider myself lucky. I found Brian online and after talking to him I knew he would be the right lawyer. He was great, knew his stuff and was able to help resolve my traffic issue to a very good result.

I found myself in a bad situation, upon being stressed and made a poor decision of getting into an argument with a store clerk while returning items to a department store. Against my better judgement I grabbed an item and walked out. They immediately caught me for shoplifting as I walked out the door. I had a career and family to think about. I didn't want this bad judgement to ruin my life. I called a couple of friends for a recommendation for a lawyer. The same name came up from all of them and that was Brian. I called Brian and immediately we had a bond. He didn't treat me like a criminal. He saw my side and all the stress I was going through. He said he could tell that it was a poor judgement, an in the moment mistake. He took me on as a client. Never being in trouble with the law before he guided me through every aspect of what to expect and made it very easy for me to go through this horrific experience. In my mind I thought it was the end of the world. He explained to me that although it was a mistake, it wasn't as bad as I had imagined in my head. He was there to answer any questions I had 7 days a week, anytime of the day. If he didn't answer, he would return my call as quick as he could. I don't think I ever waited more than 30-60 minutes for a call back. Brian is a very personable lawyer and he made me feel like his only client. He is not the typical stuck up lawyer. He didn't look down on me. He answered every question I had in details and no matter how ridiculous they were. I dealt with lawyers before, but never a criminal defense lawyer and they all have a demeanor about them. Not Brian, he was like talking to a friend. He makes you feel that comfortable. He took me into a trial and everyone at the courthouse and everyone knew him. I was in court for about 10 minutes before he got me off on the minimum community service hours with the charges eventually dropped. He followed up with me to make sure I was doing OK. I still call him for recommendations about other lawyers that I may need for different circumstances, such as a labor lawyer. Anyone would be lucky to have Brian represent them. He is honorable, caring, professional, knowledgeable and just a great all around guy. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a criminal defense lawyer who cares about you in addition to the case. My feeling is that Brian isn't in a lawyer just for the paycheck, that he actually loves to help people.

Brian is the best lawyer in the New York area. I got charges for trespassing and for possession of marijuana. The charges said I could face possible jail time and I was terrified.
