I’m so grateful for Arthur Lebedin & his law firm. They helped my son & I settled his student loan. Everything they said they would do, they did. Katherine handled our case, I can’t say enough about her. She answered all our concerns & was very supportive. She understood the stress we were under & promised results. She went above & beyond. We received a settlement amount that was considerably less than the full balance. Finally after years of struggling we are free from these crippling loans!!! Forever thankful.

Saw this law firm online and based on good reviews, I contacted their office and Atty Lebedin called me outright and had given me consulatation for free. I went to his office and Atty Arthur was so gracious listening to my woes with regards to my credit card debts. He’s very knowledgeable of what he does and very professional. I recently had a judgment against me for almost $9,000. I contacted Arthur Lebedin after I read some great reviews about him on the internet and within a few short months he was able to settle my judgement by almost 70%!!! I ended up only having to pay $3,000 of the almost $9,000. They also made it so I could pay installments of only $75 a month till the $3000 is paid off! This company was informative from the very start. Before we went into contract they were gracious with information and moved at my pace. When I was finally ready to go head with the settlement they got me a deal in 2 weeks! I owed 30k and paid 9,630k in one lump sum. I cannot thank them enough. My life is finally back on track. What these student loan companies are doing to students and new grads is criminal. With no risk on the banks part (due to the inability to declare bankruptcy) these private banks jack up the interest rates leaving students with a mountain of debt that's impossible to overcome. I contacted the law firm after doing a fairly extensive online search for the best debt collection attorneys in NYC. For those who can relate, you cannot run from your debts. In trying to avoid a wage garnishment, I reached out to Lebedin Kofman for help to settle an old debt that had been following me quite some time. From start to finish they were professional and on point. I dealt mostly with an associate attorney and paralegal once I signed the retainer agreement, but they were responsive and took my matter seriously. I never had to wait long for an update - every few days, a week or two at most, I heard some progress on my settlement offer. The embarrassment and sheer dread of having this old debt weighing on me has lifted. I have to pay the debt back, of course, but the settlement terms were reasonable and I avoided a garnishment. I know the law firm fought for me. The attorney's fees are to be expected for the work that they did.
