David and his team are great. I came to him at a very urgent time. He got right on the job and forced some immediate initial action. I received temporary orders in my favor and it ended up being very necessary because my case ended up dragging out for 2 years, with covid shutdown but they stuck with it and saw everything through. I am working on retaining David currently for my case. I was served with a custody petition late 2021 in an immediate rush with no research I hired my original lawyer out of desperation. My case is a little different than most. Mr. Zaslavsky managed to persuade the cohort of pricey and overconfident lawyers that the ridiculous claims of their client who tried to fight for custody and then unsupervised visitation rights of his so called stepchild are unsound and not legally right. He also made them realize that ignoring international law in respect of Hague Convention by starting the second divorce action while the first one was already pending is also quite not lege artis. All his efforts made the plaintiff withdraw the faulty lawsuit and made me very happy saving my time and nerves from unnecessary and costly litigation. David earned my glowing review and highest recommendation. He defended my innocence in court, when I was up against someone whose aim was to exploit the justice system (and me) to gain a monetary settlement. It wasn’t until I began doing some very late research on my civil matter that I realized how badly the upcoming hearing could end for me. By contrast, my accuser thought they had nothing to lose and would face no consequences for following through on a fabricated claim. If you’re looking for a lawyer who thinks outside the box and moves quickly in representing their clients’, PLEASE READ ON. _______ TUESDAY NIGHT (first call with David): David took my case on very short notice. He made himself available to me late on a Tuesday night, and I was due to appear in court on Thursday at 9AM (1.5 days later). I explained to him what had happened, shared the evidence I had, and he immediately began preparing. THURSDAY (day of the hearing): 9AM: The court was running behind schedule, so we started late. Shortly after it began, the hearing was interrupted by opposing counsel. They said they couldn’t complete the hearing at that time because our delayed start caused an unplanned schedule conflict for them. The judge ended the session and gave us a time to re-appear- 12PM. 12PM: All parties re-appear in court, and opposing counsel begins by stating that his client (my accuser) would like to WITHDRAW their claims. After some legal formalities, my accuser officially withdrew, and the matter was COMPLETELY RESOLVED. All in a single day… No more time, stress, or money required. I was ecstatic, but also puzzled. So I called David to celebrate, thank him, and get his opinion on what had happened. _______ DAVID’S QUICK THINKING Going into the 9AM session, David and I weren’t aware that my accuser would be represented by a lawyer. When we learned that, David sprung into action. Between our 9AM and 12PM court sessions, David miraculously got in direct contact with opposing counsel, which was something I was not aware of when we re-appeared. In that conversation, David presented the case facts and evidence to opposing counsel and inquired about the other side of the story. As expected, my accuser’s had no evidence to support their claims. Opposing counsel then proposed to David that we settle the case. David correctly responded on my behalf, “absolutely not.” In the end, I presume that, thanks to David’s conversation, opposing counsel explained to my accuser that bringing a false claims to court has serious consequences, and it’s not something the justice system takes lightly. With that, my accuser agreed to withdraw and make a sworn statement that they were doing so of their own accord. CASE CLOSED! _______ CONCLUSION Without David’s representation and quick action, I have no doubt that this matter would have ended badly for me.
