My interaction with the Shapiro Law Firm has been nothing but professional. Aaron and the team are highly proficient in legal knowledge, efficient in processing and accessible. I never felt like not being able to ask a question if something didn't make sense, and on the occasions I did, Aaron was articulate and detailed in his response and able to convey it in what I would say were "non legal jargon". Highly recommend!

Before retaining an attorney, I consulted with three other firms. I picked the Shapiro Law Firm because Amanda Shaffer provided me with a detailed, transparent and complete explanation of what I could expect throughout the entire process. Amanda helped me file and obtain an order of protection against someone that had been harassing me for several months. She was able to quickly get approval from the Judge to serve the respondent over email, since I did not have an address for them. Amanda was able to swiftly work through the confusion, mistakes and delays posed by the court and the respondent. Every step of the way, she was available to answer all of my questions, and more importantly, Amanda remained professional, considerate and very understanding throughout this process. Even through my emotional outbursts. Amanda is a very knowledgeable and purposeful attorney, I was relieved every time I spoke to her. I am glad I had someone as smart and compassionate as her to advocate for me throughout a traumatic experience. I recommend Amanda Shaffer to anyone looking for an attorney with true integrity.

I was almost at the deadline to process my Visa TD as the previous immigration lawyer suddenly dropped my case. I found them through google and decided to take a leap of faith as I am living in California and never had the pleasure to meet them before. However, it was the most pleasant surprise! Aaron took my case right away and hand it over to Amanda, who is truly a sweetheart and has been supporting me every step of the way, including now that I am looking to transition out of the TD to a TN that I am obtaining. Both of them very knowledgeable, patient and I truly appreciate that they were so calm and provided me with a lot of security to anxious people like me. Thank you so much Amanda and Aaron for supporting me in getting my TD visa. I truly recommend their services! All the experience in the world and more. I personally will be continue to use their services.

I retained them in 2021. I was in immigration court for removal proceedings. Aaron and Amanda are nice and they do a great job explaining options and legalities. They filed a motion to terminate my case from immigration court which was approved in 03/2022 AND helped me file a new i485 application, that was approved 12/14/2022. I highly recommend, and will most likely use them for my citizenship in 3 years. Their applications are very thorough. They give you questionnaires they made that to help gather all the evidence.

Amazing experience! I am a practicing attorney, but I did not trust myself to handle our complex immigration situation (DACA, unlawful presence accrual, etc). After talking to multiple law firms who told us we had no options to convert from DACA to lawful permanent resident, Amanda and Aaron took us on as clients and walked us through every step of the process. Even though it took much longer than expected due to covid, Amanda was in constant communication with us the entire time. Our applications were approved and we just returned to NY from our interview at CDJ. Everything went as Amanda said it would and we are safely and happily back in the US keeping an eye on our mailbox for the green card to arrive. Thank you Amanda and Aaron!

Firstly my name appears wrong and I’m not sure why but I still have to leave this review. I got introduced to Aaron by a friend who currently uses their law firm. When I reached out to him and listened to him, I knew I would be walking into their office sooner than I planned. And when I made it to their office and met another attorney Amanda, it summed up all I had felt. I am at the early stage of working with this law firm but I can say one thing for sure, it is the best decision I have made in a long time. I am glad to be here. I am glad that I met Amanda. She is exactly as she has been described by a lot of other reviewers. Sitting opposite this dedicated and compassionate attorney in her office made me believe more in myself over the fact that some good people out there are doing what they do to help people instead of making a living. I find it hard to leave reviews, my life is had multiple difficulties and trust issues but I know one thing at this point. I trust the lawyer I sat with three days ago. And if you ever get to read this Attorney Amanda, thank you for being who you are!
