I sought the services of this office after being referred by the Legal Bar System. I submitted my medical reports and a personal statement as part of my case. However, my experience with Victoria, the person in charge, was quite unsatisfactory. Victoria did not review any of the documents I provided and instead expected me to provide all the information myself. When I informed her about my recent saddle nose deformity (including breathing difficulties) resulting from surgery, she dismissed my concerns and even denied the existence of the condition. This was despite my doctors having clearly diagnosed me with this condition, which requires an expensive revision surgery costing up to $55k. It was clear to me that Victoria lacked the necessary medical expertise to handle my case and seemed disinterested in helping me. She simply advised me to rely on my insurance to cover the cost of another surgery, without offering any further guidance or assistance. It was disappointing to realize that Victoria, who is a lawyer by profession, seemed more interested in taking the easy way out than in helping me get the justice I deserved. She will not work pro bono. You’re better off hiring someone who actually has empathy. In response to Victoria’s repeated dismissal of my condition: I have informed her that my L-strut was cracked and keystone broken at the time of surgery which caused the surgery to take almost 7 hours. I had a septal hematoma and synechia as a result. In addition, I have seen experts who have examined me and advised that I require a complex revision for: 1. Synechia, 2. Deviated nasal septum, 3. Hypertrophy of both inferior nasal turbinates, 4. Concha bullosa, 5. Nasal valve stenosis, 6. Saddle nose deformity. I also shared images with Victoria, which she believes looks “fine.” It is clear that she will only accept cases where there’s no nose left at all.
