I was falsely arrested and suffered a minor injury. As a mother of 2 children I was scared at the moment, but was more angry to become a victim of a police officer. Having earned my Bachelors in Criminal Justice and learning and hearing different cases of people being victimized by Police Officers is one thing, but to become a victim yourself and to think that the police are suppose to serve and protect the community caused me to developed a range of emotions that made me become worried about the abuse of power Police officers have among us civilians.
