Daniel at Barnard Law was incredibly thorough and detail-oriented in helping me review the setup of a trust during my divorce. He listened carefully to all my concerns, answered questions thoughtfully, and always responded quickly to emails and calls. His kind demeanor made a challenging process much easier. I would absolutely work with him again in the future!

I don’t recommend this lawyer ! Went into this office over a month ago for a consult, two weeks past I didn’t hear anything back from him reached out on several occasions to have the paralegal say i’ll call you back. The communication with this firm is definitely non-professional. I don’t recommend them especially if time is a factor. MR Bernard to this day has not reached out at all to discuss my case. The paralegal she can’t keep up with her own lie’s this is why she’s a paralegal and not an attorney.

I cannot say enough good things about this firm and Daniel Bernard in particular. I was in a very difficult time dealing with estate affairs of a recently passed family member. Obviously, this is hard on its own let alone trying to understand legal terminology and present painful heart-breaking documents like death certificates etc. I reached out to Daniel to see if he could help me and instead of quoting me some outlandish retainer that would cost me a kidney like most attorney’s I’ve worked with in the past, he answered my questions on the spot and for free!??!? Just a general act of true sincerity in a time when I could use it the most. If ever another time moment arises where I need an attorney I would not hesitate to hire him for whatever the cost. As this type of integrity and support is exactly who and what you want in your corner when dealing with the frustrating legalities of the law/court. I could not recommend him or his firm enough. If you are looking for a lawyer who is honest and knows their stuff then look no further. Highly highly recommend.

I highly recommend Dan Bernard for his estate planning. He worked with my husband and I while we were still in NY and was professional and courteous. He explained each step as we went so we understood fully all our options and felt confident that our estate and our children would be taken care of in our passing. When our son turned 18 we did not hesitate to contact Dan again for his advisement. We were pleasantly surprised he was able to assist us again, especially since we moved to North Carolina several years ago. He helped our son set up a power of attorney and a health care proxy before leaving for basic training. He made the process seamless and once again explained each step for my son’s understanding and completed it all before he shipped out. I have recommended Dan to our friends and family knowing they will be in good hands with him.
