Jeffrey Chabrowe, by profession, is a criminal defense attorney - but this title does little justice to the true value he holds: a strong-willed and compassionate individual with right experience to help you solve your case because he simply wants you to have the best quality of life possible. In my time having him represent me, his intentions were pure, well intentioned, and in my best interest. I vividly remember that on my 24th call trying to find the right attorney, Jeff picked up. Previously, every lawyer I consulted with had 10 minutes to talk; needed to know the charges; a 2 minute brief of my side of the story; and then cut straight to the cost of retaining them - I don't blame them, I would to if I was a lawyer perhaps. But not Jeff. Despite being a stranger, I knew within the first few minutes of talking with him that I would retain him as my representative on that same day. His ability to listen intently to me rang loudly and he truly just wanted to understand what exactly happened - I never once felt judgement from him. You would think that retaining a reputable and experienced lawyer would bring more peace of mind - but not for me. I was facing several felony charges that haunted me mentally everyday. For certain my life was in shambles and it was apparent given that I'd gotten myself in this mess to begin with. What would my friends and family think of me? Are my career prospects over? Am I truly a bad person? Or worse: should I just give up hope? Wanting the problem to go away, I isolated myself for weeks avoiding Jeff's numerous calls and texts (not a good idea). It got so bad, that I for sure thought that he would take my silence as confirmation that I was a lost cause. How else could a lawyer help if their client doesn't respond? I even missed an interview with the investigators of my case that he amazingly setup for me. To my surprise, this man was relentless and finally caught hold of me after weeks of consistent efforts. He gave me sound advice to snap me back into reality, prepared me, and rescheduled that crucial interview I stupidly missed. I don't know what would be of me if he stopped reaching out to be honest. His compassionate reassurance and profound expertise went above and beyond what his role as a retained defense attorney is limited to. In the end, Grand Jury action was avoided, my case was dismissed, sealed, and I now have a clean record altogether. On the day that I sought Jeff as my representative, little did I know that he was my biggest advocate that could directly influence the trajectory of my life. I found a person that gave me hope to renew my aspirations in life and push onwards with confidence. Sure enough, Jeffrey Chabrowe is the right person that does what he says he will do and gets the job done efficiently. He doesn't settle for less than what he knows is possible either.
