Terrible attorney, she talks a lot in court dragging it out but in reality it seems like she just read one or two (maybe) books on family law before going into court and makes us all look stupid. Would leave negative stars if I could

I don't typically write reviews, however, I felt compelled to write this one due to my experience with Lisa Hartley. Let me begin by saying ending a 30+ year marriage is difficult, but ending one engulfed with contention can bring you to your knees. I remember calling Ms. Hartley, explaining my situation, she immediately accommodated me for a consultation. When I went in to meet her personally, I was in severe distress. Seeing this, Ms. Hartley put me at ease by giving me hope that this situation could be resolved quickly. It takes courage to dissolve a marriage of so many years and a tenacious attorney to win a case. Ms. Hartley supported me emotionally throughout the entire process making herself available to me 24/7. She always found the right words to calm me despite the storm I was facing. In addition to being an excellent attorney who fights for the rights of her clients, she possesses the qualities of an amazing human....kindness and compassion. What can I say about Lisa? My divorce and custody battle was one of, if not THE hardest most difficult challenge in my life. Lisa made me feel comfortable during the whole process. She explained everything to me. Why things weren’t going a certain way or why things were going a certain way. Though the other side went with untruths and slander, Lisa NEVER stooped to that level. She kept her integrity and mine intact the entire time. She never made me feel alone or in the dark about anything. The communication from her was unbelievable. She would call or text, not to discuss the case but to make sure I was good and that my family were doing well. I would 100% recommend her to anyone. She won’t stop and won’t be bullied by ANYONE. Lisa Hartley is an exceptional and extremely competent layer. My sister recommended her and two others. Lisa stood out above the other two by simple stating to give her a call back just to let her know that I found someone else. That's when I knew she was for me. When I met with her, I was a wreck! We sat down in her office and she explained "the good, the bad and the ugly" parts of a divorce. This really put my mind at ease. She worked with me when it came to making payments. When I tell you this woman is a God send, I mean it. Not only does she KNOW the law but she very quickly learned, knew and cared for me and my needs.
