Catherine was in incredible from start to finish. She was very informative from start to finish. This was an adoption and it everything thing that could go wrong did. Catherine continued to advocate on my behalf as well as ensure she did everything in her power to finalize the adoption. She responded to every email and phone call within hours if not minutes. She went out of the way to make sure we understood every detail of the process. She was even able to adjust the process to accommodate our sensitive situation. It is always humbling to be vulnerable and leave your fears, insecurities and hopes in the hands of others. I can say for myself my family and I was in the best hands. She was beyond words and will never be forgotten.

We have been in court on and off for over 7 years fighting for more time and trying to get my ex to actually follow the court paper in general. Obviously, those bill certainly added up and we used a few different lawyers prior to Catherine. Our first lawyer, didn't know family law, our second lawyer over promised and under delievered, our third lawyer had a paralegal doing all the work and messing up everything over and over while charging us for every word we spoke to her. Final we were received a recommendation for Catherine and what a breath of fresh air!! She handled the case on her own and actually remembered us, our case and things we asked of her. She was very real and honest with us and went above and beyond. She also didn't nickle and dime for every question, email or phone call. Catherine was very fair and professional. She is intelligent and knows what she is talking about. You can tell she is well respected in Riverhead court house by the other lawyers, officers and judges. I would recommend Catherine to anyone looking to get the job done correctly with someone who will fight for you, understand you and listen! I hope I never have to be in court again, but if I do, I will 100% be calling Catherine.

I would give Catherine 10 stars if I could!!I contacted Catherine in reference to a very difficult custody matter. She responded immediately and because I expressed to her that I was in need of advice ASAP she was able to fit me in her schedule right away. She was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. She listened to my concerns and was able to answer all of my questions and explained what needed to be done in a way that I felt no confusion at all and all of my concerns were addressed. (Which is not always the case with attorneys). She was kind and compassionate and really clarified things for me, and gave me excellent advice. I would HIGHLY recommend Catherine DeSanto if you are ever in need of an attorney, and I will always be grateful to her for her help in my very difficult situation.

Unfortunately, I spent a lot of time with an atty who didn't do as much as Catherine did in a shorter amount of time and it was also a financial disaster. I met with Catherine later in my custody situation. I am forever grateful for her thoroughness, empathy, calmness and expertise. She is well spoken and respected. I also felt that her law guardian background was helpful to my case in the family court system. She was well known with other professionals and knew how to navigate the system. She was also able to steer me towards another professional who assisted me with a different challenge in our case. Catherine is trustworthy, a straight-shooter and considerate with billing as well. She is caring, intelligent, hard working, experienced and prepared to tell you how it is. I would pass along her contact info. confidently to anyone who needed legal services.

I have used Ms. DeSanto on two separate, successful occasions. Her calm demeanor and her ability to listen was very reassuring. With her wit, sense of humor and intelligence she was able to explain the legal process in down to earth jargon. I was never at a loss. In court I could see Ms. DeSanto was well respected amongst her peers; and all though she can be a team player, she knows when to stand firm. I was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of the law. It was proud moments with her phone calls to me, "We won!" Whether its to win a case or to protect my interests, without a doubt, I would call Catherine again if the need arises.
