Absolutely.Terrible took my money, didn't do anything when I fired.Her asked her for my money back.She said it was all used up and and she looks like big bird

Kept filing motions after motions instead of addressing my case. When my money ran out she stopped working. I think it was purpose. Buyer beware with this one.

I hired Maureen for my divorce at the suggestion of a friend. Unfortunately she was horrible and I will never refer her to anyone else. She was never prepared in the courtroom and the Judge did not have any respect for her. She dragged everything out, which of course cost me more money and blamed her unpreparedness on the opposing lawyer. She made a very stressful situation even more stressful. I never felt like she was on my side or working in my best interest. I think it is time for her to retire!

I have retained 3 attorneys before maureen and they did nothing for me . Literally nothing . I retained maureen and she was deligent and most importantly had my daughters and my best interest at heart . I cannot tell anyone how much I appreciate maureen and her thorough services . This case was not easy and that woman fought for me ! Best matrimonial lawyer and a tiger in court ! I must use the word LOVE for this women .

I hired Maureen in the Fall of 2015 to fight for the custody of my children. I was filing for divorce at the time - a divorce that went on two years and cost me more than twenty thousand dollars. Maureen gave me poor advice and the Judge acknowledged that. Maureen continued to be poorly prepared for the courtroom and I lost custody of my child because of her poor performance. She is not respected in the courtroom.

It's been five years since I used her services. I will tell you that her counsel was difficult to hear because of its candor, but the most useful and actionable I received at any time. She not only counseled me on what she could (and did) do to assist in my post divorce difficulties, but was very direct and helpful in pointing out what I could do to ease those difficulties. She speaks from experience. Her economy of language and observations is appreciated and if you are willing to listen, you will have retained very wise and useful counsel. It is not without exaggeration that my experience with her changed how I do post marital business with my ex-wife and all affected parties are the better for it.

Ms Pineau helped me to understand the legal situation that I was in. She basically "saved my ass". My husband and I respect her knowledge and her would always recommend her to our friends.

Not the same attorney that actually cared 12-15 yrs ago!! Did not communicate with me. Did not return calls, or e-mails. I never even received a statement showing what and how much of the retainer was used. It took me 1 month of weekly asking to see where my account was with money. Had a snarky attitude with me, her own client!! I would not recommend to anyone as I had so much in the past years. What a huge disappointment!! Time to retire is my opinion. Hourly rates are $100 more than used to be. I did not get what i paid for. Only rudeness, and no common courtesy. I hired this attorney to relieve my stress through the process, instead felt more from stress because of this attorney.

Ms. Pineau refused to do what I asked and we were continually in Court. She filed motions, orders to show cause and expended and exhausted my funds. When I was out of money, she refused to do any further work on what I thought was a straightforward case until I could pay her more. I gave her a substantial retainer and her continued objection to everything COST ME EVERYTHING. She did what SHE WANTED, not what I wanted. The Judge on several occasions yelled at her in Court.I would never recommend her.

Attorney Pineau was well worth our time and money. She is a no non-sense, straight-to-the-point, relentless attorney who will fight for justice. She represented me for a complicated custody and relocation case with great determination. Her knowledge of law and practice in her field is exceptional. She was aware that retaining her was outside our financial safe zone and she was willing to help us cut back on nickle n' dime expenses; which meant more work for me. It all paid off in the end. Highly recommended for those seeking honest justice.

Maureen helped us all the way to getting custody of my grandson. She was helpful in instructing us concerning the law and very honest with us as we moved thru the legal system. I highly recommend her.
