I reached out to Mr. Schmitt after being served a violation from the father of my child. He seemed pleasant and even offered me a discounted rate because I am military. I did not mention any financial hardship to prompt him to offer me a discounted rate. There was barely any follow up about my case . Our first encounter was a 15 mins video chat. I was asked to send documentation to him which I prepared and sent to him. When I emailed about him reviewing the documents he said “sorry I didn’t remember an email from 3 months ago.” This points to the fact that my documents were not reviewed . I sent organized notes summarizing email communication with my sons father and time stamped audios with descriptions for easy browsing. As we were getting closer to trial and I began to ask more questions I was met with disrespect and flat out rudeness. When I stated the relationship needed to come to an end he stated to me he did me a favor by lowering his rate . Again I did not state any financial hardship, I was aware of the complicated nature of my custody case so finances was not an issue. I do not recommend him at all. And if there is a reply from the firm stating I was not a client I will post proof of our contract and email threads.

Better call James! James is truly there when you need anything and always reachable.

I had a semi-complicated matter and they were able to get tickets, some from 20 years ago, dismissed. I would recommend!

I have worked with David and sent many ppl to him. He is very professional, knowledgeable, honest and up front. He never leads you on about what he can do. I was stopped by a trooper who stated I was going 84 mph in a 40 zone (I was In a 55 and not going *quite* that fast) which is an 11 point ticket that when convicted would result in a license suspension. The law office of James L. Risotto was able to negotiate dropping the charge down to only 49 mph in a 40 zone which is only three points. They also were able to get the uninspected motor vehicle charge dropped. I am quite pleased with their work. Throughout the process the paralegal I worked with was friendly, polite and professional. I felt at ease through the whole process.
