Started working with Heller & Consultants during the pandemic. Although court system was backed up, the team still made sure to keep me posted regarding my statuses. This tax year they successfully grieved, and the process was incredibly smooth. Most importantly was the customer service and a representative who was able to answer my questions and took the time to break details down for me.

went with Heller & Conultants for 2019-20 tax year & 2020-2021.
this month we learned they were able to get our 2020-2021 taxes lowered by $5,600. we are thrilled. will be reimbursed by suffolk county for our overpayment. should have filed a grievance long ago.

Worked with Heller the first two years I purchased my property and was not successful in reducing my taxes. Third year I was pleasantly surprised that Heller reduced Assessed Value saving me over $1000 per year. Will definitely be working with them in the future to chip away at the incredible property tax rates we have here on Long Island. Heller & Consultants Tax Grievance have been successfully grieving my property taxes for years. The process is automated and easy to complete.
I am confident my property taxes are fairly assessed now. And when appropriate Heller & Consultants will remind me to reapply to keep my property taxes in line with my neighbors.

They claim they take 50% but with their appraisak fees it's much more. Not impressed with the results. Too much percentage for the amount of work that's done. Plenty of room for someone to come in the market at a lower rate.
