Excellent Legal Counsel and Representation for us.

The team at Verna Law was a first call for me when I was in-house and faced with trademark issues. I have referred many clients over to Anthony over the years for his wise counsel on intellectual property issues.

To be honest, in the beginning everything seemed organized and legit. It was extremely easy to get Mr. Anthony Verna on the phone, he was initially very helpful, after I had made my payment and discussed the registration of my trademark, I felt at ease. Mr. Verna explained that it does take some time and that there were delays. After that, time had passed so I wanted to have some updates, I called and emailed with no response and then I suddenly get an email of my application being abandoned. That email was a complete shock to me so I decided to email and call again. My call was answered by the secretary who told me that Mr. Verna wasn’t available and I was still being very understanding even at that point and requested that I be called back urgently since the matter is extremely time sensitive. I didn’t receive any call, after that I called the firm at least 5 times with the same excuses(he’s in a meeting, he’s out of the office and that I’ll get a call back). I didn’t receive any calls and told the secretary that this wasn’t acceptable and that I payed for a service which I’m not receiving answers to, she then again assured that someone would call me back. Unfortunately I wasn’t and my last resort was to call uspto to see how I can fix the problem that Mr. Anthony Verna had created by neglecting the service I payed him for. Overall I see this firm as a scam at this point and would recommend for anyone to be referred by a lawyer they know and trust. It started out as a good quality experience that turned into a nightmare.

I needed help with a name dispute

Anthony is the BEST! He goes above and beyond to make sure that I am legally protected every time I enter another agreement. He's rational and asks the right questions to ensure that I am being just the right amount of conservative before I sign a new contract with a Client. Additionally, he's a lovely and funny guy. I would recommend him to anyone and already have!

Mr. Verna has been a Competent Attorney who was able to complete tasks that took other lawyers years to complete. On May 24, 2022, I retained Mr. Verna's Services to represent my Company on a Copyright Infringement case and an Action in Paris, France with our Company having Jurisdiction and Governing Law in New York, USA. In the Span of less than one year, Mr. Verna managed to File a Summons and Complaint in US Federal Court and Served (put on notice) Several Companies in Paris, France which require service to be done through the "Hague." This resulted in Complete Service and Accomplishment under French Law. The Case is Currently on the Calander with the United States Federal Court. Mr. Verna was effective and efficient at a fraction of the Cost I have paid other lawyers to Represent me in Similar Court Cases Internationally (London, Rome, etc.) I give Mr. Verna a "5 Star Review" and I am 100% satisfied. I’d give 0 stars if I could I recommend hiring anyone but Anthony Verna! I paid him thousands and thousands of dollars for him not to follow through with his duties as my attorney and he let my trademark get abandoned. I’ve reached out to him countless times by email and phone and he will not respond. He is unprofessional and I completely wasted my money hiring him as my attorney as I paid him for work he didn’t follow through with. I highly recommend hiring anyone but him!!

Caitlin stole my retainer and stopped answering calls and messages. She sent me a bill that was obviously inflated but there was still a remaining balance according to her. After she was fired from the case, there was a remaining balance and she refused to send that back and completely disappeared off the face of the earth.

Anthony provided me with exceptional service. Answered every question in detail and was available whenever I needed him. I will be recommending him to everyone who needs legal advice for trademarks and copyrights.
