We worked with Margo Sterling on the purchase of our home, she was absolutely excellent. Since we were first time buyers, we had a LOT of questions and she spent ample time answering each question and explaining each part of the home-buying process. She was on top of communication with all parties and made sure we had a smooth closing. We highly recommend Margo's legal services for anyone purchasing a home!

I would leave 10 stars for Margo Sterling if google would let me!
Margo assisted me on the purchase of my first co op, she is knowledgeable,thorough, persistent, and always available when I needed to speak with her.
She made sure I was never left in the dark, and always followed up with all parties involved on my behalf.
Margo was recommended to me by a colleague, and for good reason! So glad that I had the pleasure to work with her.

My family and I have on multiple occasions used Bertine Hufnagel for various legal needs, including Will draftings and, most recently, a real estate transaction. The experiences have all gone smoothly, with attentive and component attorneys. The attorney handling my real estate transaction kept me apprised of all important dates, explained the contract provisions to me carefully, and was very thorough at the closing. I would highly recommend using this firm for wills, trusts and estate planning, as well as for any real estate transactions.

I highly recommend the Bertine Hufnagel and Headley firm. I have had them represent me twice over the years and their organization, professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness and general friendliness made the experiences much easier. Real estate purchases, sales and closings can stressful, but when you have a great lawyer to support you, it really makes the process less difficult. I have and would recommend them to dear friends and family who are in need of legal services. I feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful firm.

I am very lucky to have found this firm; they were much more responsive, understanding, and expedient than the previous lawyer I worked with. It’s amazing to see the night and day difference between firms and I’m happy to review one that truly shines.
Before I came to Bertine & Hufnagel I was feeling like the victim of a system and backed into a corner. I knew I was in the right, though, and the lawyers here listened to my story, recommended a path of action, and within a very short time aggressively helped me recoup money from a construction situation gone wrong.

Excellent, efficient, responsive and effective firm. I was amazed at how quickly they were able to resolve my very complicated issue. They literally saved me $64K with very little stress or annoyance on my part. I wish all law firms were this good...at least the ones that represent the good guys ;) You can't go wrong hiring these lawyers.
