I hired Michael to represent me in a workers comp case along with a disability retirement through New York State police and fire. He was the second lawyer that I had for my case. My first lawyer promised me the world but never communicated with me. I felt lost in the situation. I took a chance and moved on from that firm. It was the best decision I could’ve made. When I initially sat down with Michael to discuss the case I knew that this was the type of lawyer I wanted to represent me. He was extremely compassionate, articulate and knowledgeable. Anytime I have had a question throughout my case Michael has immediately responded to me and explained it in a way that I could understand. This is extremely helpful navigating the often confusing New York State retirement system and Worker’s Compensation system. He was instrumental in fighting for me to receive a disability pension and also worker’s compensation benefits.
