Jean has been representing me in my divorce case. She is very sharp, articulate, and organized. She is a realist and does not sugar coat anything. I am very happy and grateful to have her as my lawyer. She works endlessly with great communication. She is certainly a veteran in the game. Jean has been very compassionate during a very stressful time in my life. Alber Law, and Jean has been by my side for a long time, and while my divorce is not over yet, there is no other firm or lawyer I would want representing me. She is also well respected in the court room because she speaks the truth which says a lot about her countless hours of work in the courtroom. While I do not want to speak about my case because it is not over, I eventually will. Things are on the right track for my children and I, and I owe it all to Alber Law and Jean Mercurio!

Doesn't respond, is late to court, and then overcharges you for activity you don't recognize.

Jean took my money for services she did not deliver. Paid her money to retain her and then she just disappeared. Never anderes my phone calls to her office or her cell. Never returned my emails or texts. Disgusting how you present yourself as a lawyer the. Just take someone’s money and run!

Not professional- disappeared I tried to contact her and she doesn’t want to answer my messages.

Jean is a waste of money. She didn’t even file an important modification and would return my calls for days/weeks. She does not respond to calls, texts, or emails. She will take your money and disappear. If you’re looking for a good attorney, look elsewhere, literally anywhere else.

When I realized I would need a divorce attorney I did not hesitate to call Jean. Many friends recommended her. I was petrified of the journey and clueless of the procedures. I can assure you that Jean is a calm, cool and confident lawyer. She can handle men who attempt to intimidate her. She knows the laws and the Judges on the bench. I have nothing but great things to say about her. No idea what the negative reviews are about, however I can recommend Jean to anyone needing an attorney. Shes handled numerous things for me. My husbands WILL, probate court, & family court. She is professional, extremely sensitive, reliable, smart, caring and goes above & beyond for her clients. I have recommended her and she has been used by a close friend and they have nothing but praise for her. I am currently using her yet once again and would back her up 110%!

Where to begin she came highly recommend and what a disappointment. Took forever to file my divorce papers charged so much fees just because she prolonged the divorce. I didn’t get anything I’m still waiting for her to finish a job she was fully paid on . She refuses to answer my text calls or emails indicated that I should contact the judge myself. Has used every excuse in the book including an ill father . Her appearance she looks deshabilled . DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER SHE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT FINISHING THE JOB!

She took my daughters adoption case, took our money and documents right after our first meeting and held us without giving us any info for 13 months using her fathers sickness as an excuse, finally after I put her name on Facebook seeking for other ways to reach at her bc she never replied back or called back, Worried about her repution she offered to file our case after 13 months !! So she did nothing for us or told us she can't bc her personal problems. Still didn't get our documents and money . Do not use her for anything, insensitive, careless, unprofessional and the most importantly she lies. Do not waste your time and money with her.
