Gaslighting me now? Response to office's comment: Kerie Stone, either you, or someone on your staff has it wrong. Look at the facts. 1. I spoke to nobody from your office until Friday when I called for the 1st time. I'd clearly remember if I had called earlier and been rejected. 2. If you have a record of me calling, please tell me the time and date, so I can show you my call history, and that you are not in it. 3. The person I spoke with on Friday did not acknowledge that I had called previously. I TOLD HER that I had filled out the online form and gotten no response 4 months ago. She didn't know what to say to that and fumbled with a response, so I replied that I was calling "now", so that was ok. This was so we could move the call along. And really, I wasn't worried about not having received a response from the form, since many companies are not good about following up on those things. 4. "We were concerned you still hadn't found an attorney." Best case scenario here, maybe you had read my form back in March and thought your staff responded, and that was the reason for her confusion. But I assure you there has been no concern received by me at any point. 5. After I gave the receptionist the briefest amount of info, they asked if I would be willing to have you provide a reference IF you couldn't help, since you have contacts. I was concerned about that question since I hadn't actually consulted with anybody, and that's when they said they just answered the phones and wouldn't be able to tell me whether or not you'd take me. 6. Your office providing a reference implies that someone will give me the name of another firm, not that I will blindly receive a call from that firm, without first being told by your staff. Receiving a call from someone that I did not expect, and knowing that my phone number has been provided without my permission, is intrusive. 7. Farmingdale is not near St. James. I was called by someone with a Nassau County office. 8. I called asking you for help with SSD, and the firm which you referred has a long history of "representing injured workers in claims for workers’ compensation benefits". Their website is VERY CLEAR that Workers Comp is their specialty. Where your website is clear that you deal with SSD. So which seems to be a better fit??? 9. I had done my research, and liked that your experience met my needs. If I wanted a one size fits all office, I could have found one on my own. I only said "yes" to a recommendation of another firm to have a backup, but I knew I wouldn't call them without doing my own due diligence. Original review: I can't tell you how the staff was, because I contacted them twice. Once through an online form on the website - no response at all. And the second time, when I called, I didn't get past the receptionist. The next day I got a call from a random firm, not nearby. The deal is that she refers you to other firms. Supposedly when she thinks they are better suited - of course she doesn't know anything about my situation, so how did she make that decision??? I may as well have gone through a Facebook ad for all my research. If I called your firm, I decided NOT to call a different firm.

When I was denied my disability Kerie worked endlessly to help me resolve and get the disability I needed she is highly qualified and an asset to have in your corner.
